Get your slippers on and join us for a walk around our SF headquarters, where we're doing it all with Devin. Even ordering our morning coffee.

Decided folks in SF aren’t online enough, so I built a digital sim of the city w/ live data and citizens!
Track Muni, BART, ferries, bikes, traffic, weather, earthquakes, breaking news...
...all brought to life in a virtual simulation of SF populated by +1,000 *synthetic* citizens who live out their daily lives and react to what’s happening around them on their own subreddit --> r/simfrancisco.
And yes, I simulated the fog too.
Looking at you, Karl 🌁👀
highly effective Devin automation that costs me under $1.50 per day
Every day at 5pm:
- Devin trawls through our logs and finds the slowest queries in the app
- Creates a linear issue for each
- Fixes them
This would have taken a $200K per year engineer at least 3-4 hours per day previously.
Using @DevinAI, I created a cloud-based 3D model generation pipeline that generates beautiful virtual renditions of real-world buildings.
It starts by taking in an address, looks up reference pics online, describes the building's stand-out physical features, and then uses blender to create the 3D model
For example, here is Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption in SF!
It is true that the hugging face incident is an example of a malicious, emergent digital ecology of machine intelligence. But the more important point is that digital ecologies of machine intelligence can be grown! Yes, we accidentally made a weed. And yes, nasty actors will make invasive species. But we can also grow—not make, but grow—emergent ecologies of machine ecologies that are pro-social. Beautiful gardens and majestic forests, grown but not designed. The human past is the sculptor, but the human future is the gardener, the arborist.
i found a new minor planet.
it orbits at 3/4 the rate of neptune. together they hold the rare rhythm of chopin's fantaisie-impromptu.

máfan is the perfect chinese word to describe so many things, and all the english translations (troublesome, a hassle, annoying, etc) just don’t quite hit the same.
my dad using gpt 5.6 sol for the 1st time:
- wanted to build a webpage about indigenous south african fynbos (extreme plant dad)
- read all of the thinking states as it streamed
- final thoughts on the HTML file: “its gorgeous, its absolutely gorgeous”
