It's been a while. I was off X for more than 6 months, and I never really used it to its full potential.

That's about to change.

Tomorrow I'm starting a 15 day challenge to finally build and publish an app idea I've had for a long time.

I've spent way too much time overthinking, building random ideas locally, and never actually publishing anything. It's time to break that cycle.

Alongside my full-time dev job, I'll be putting in the hours after work to get this shipped. The core idea is already clear, and AI is my teammate for moving fast.

Stick around, follow the journey, and feel free to roast both my idea and me, if I end up quitting this project again.

Time to build.

@zsh89821970 @X Mostly the classics, the crawler fetches user supplied urls, so a lot of the work was making sure it can never be pointed at things it shouldn't reach.

Sunday shift, just as planned.

Spent the day alone in a coworking space.

Today was all about hardening the app and locking down security holes in the crawler.

Not the exciting kind of work.

The kind that decides whether launch week is calm or on fire.

Tomorrow's mission, deploy to Vercel and test everything again, this time in the real world.

Hard to believe there are only 3 days left ⏳

@AliAbdaal the combo that works, next.js + headless cms (sanity, payload, or even headless wordpress). claude code agents edit the code, non-tech folks write in a clean editor, nobody opens a terminal

Day 11 of 15 of building in public on @X.

Zero lines of code today. Full day of life instead.

Last night, music festival. Today - drove to the lake, got a flat tire on the way, spent an hour lying in the dirt fixing it. Then the lake made up for it. Then the first ever UFC event in Serbia. Wild day start to finish.

The domain purchase from a deck chair? Didn't happen.

But something small happened that I want to note.

At some point today I caught myself thinking "I need to tweet today", not as an obligation. As a habit. Eleven days ago, posting anything publicly felt forced. Now it's just something I do.

That might be the most valuable thing this challenge builds. The app is the app, but the habit of showing up in public every day, that stays after day 15.

Tomorrow is Sunday. Rest day for most. For me will be the most productive day of the challenge, if the plan holds. Not much is left on the list, tomorrow is for attacking it.

Holy shit, 4 days left.

Day 10 of 15 of building in public here on @X.

The name is 99.99% decided.

Ten days of brainstorming. One more step before I say it out loud.

Also validated the scoring math behind the audits, the SEO and GEO weight models are internally consistent, all 283 tests passing. A few accuracy refinements noted for later, but the numbers the tool shows you are numbers I can defend.

And Polar is finally moving, started the account verification, a couple more steps before billing is fully usable.

Day 10 status, a name (almost), a score you can trust, billing on the way. Starting to look like a product.

Now the important part - tonight I'm at a music festival. Tomorrow, the lake.

The hustle gurus would say launch week means 16 hour days and sleeping under your desk. I think that's how you ship a product and lose your mind in the same month.

Ten days in, working a full-time job on top of this, the only reason I'm still standing is the nights and days off. Rest is part of the build I guess.

(Also planning to buy a domain from a deck chair tomorrow)
