@PN92536 “Um, has anyone realized that one of the characters in this movie literally kills multiple people? Maybe I’m too woke but I don’t think that behavior is okay; murdering shouldn’t be normalized.”
@DoctorDinner@bobcousyburner6@FSKPart3 Alright man you got it. The Cavs were just as injured as the Hawks yet LeBron still led a sweep of a 60-win team in the ECF. No amount of cope can change that
You can only play who’s in front of you
@DoctorDinner@bobcousyburner6@FSKPart3 Also, Love and Kyrie were injured almost the entire 2015 postseason and he still dragged them to the Finals and almost won if not for the soon-to-be dynasty waiting for them there
@DoctorDinner@bobcousyburner6@FSKPart3 That “recent” finals was 4 years prior to LeBron joining. Would you say the Warriors “recently” won the Finals and not credit a free agent addition if they were back in the Finals next year?
And way to ignore that LeBron was injured almost all of 2018-19
@DoctorDinner@bobcousyburner6@FSKPart3 Sure their individual stats are worse, usually because they would go from the default 1st option on a mediocre team to a 2nd option on a contender, but how does the team do? LeBron always turns teams he goes to into contenders almost instantly
@CaucasianOprah@YutaO_goatsu@1AMbowlocereal@federalia Marty Supreme nearly tripled its budget at the box office and was nominated for 9 Oscars (didn’t win but still a big honor)
By all accounts it was a very successful investment. Backrooms was just more successful
@OneGiantDilemma@MrDrunkBeard@FastbreakHoops5 Kobe fills the same role as MJ but worse. You have two ball dominant guards in the same lineup, doesn’t work. Whereas Steph is amazing offball, best shooter of all time, and can at least get steals on defense. Way better fit
@knickszn@sponhourm@zonetrading2913 Embiid was clearly hurt the whole series and Maxey was playing on a broken finger. That being said, we were never winning that series even if those guys were healthy
@HXKUSAI@ChefTrillie He better have been getting acknowledged as that, he was the # 1 pick going into his 5th season when Jimmy was traded. Jimmy (and many others) were probably expecting him to be a potential face of the league, or at least a top 15 player. He wasn’t either of those things yet
@kaybouttelover@BurrowBeliever@mvpwizz Jamarr was still producing with “Browning” and the corpse of Flacco. Not that JJ isn’t still 2nd in the league at worst
@DumboffaPerc30 Jamarr should be 3rd at the worst. He seems to be the most QB proof WR in the league and has been elite since his rookie year. CD has drop issues and got outperformed by Pickens this year, and JSN has only been elite one year. Needs to do it again to be on JJ/Jamarr/Puka level
@MarloCorleone@brandevastator Kawhi took 6 seasons to start becoming an elite player, and most of that time he’s been injury prone. Of course Bird struggled with injuries too but he was a much better player out of the gate
@MIK3MCDANIEL Definitely not. Kind of a weak bracket but they completely ran through it. Only time they looked “shook” was vs the Suns and Booker needed to play the best games he’s ever had just to take it to 6
@atawsomish@KenHeLive He never needed to take those shots. Lakers 3-peated with Shaq averaging 35+ in each of those Finals series. What he did was working just fine
