@FT Having harder reserves in such a fluid and expansionary monetary environment would provide greater resilience. Time to consider #Bitcoin as a stabilising asset?
@bankofengland Woah, impressive banknote tech, must have taken lots of research and expensive processes 💪🏻 However, I find it much easier to verify the state of the entire #Bitcoin ledger with my own #opensource node software running on a humble #raspberrypi 💥
If #Bitcoin is a public good, how does it stack up against (Nobel prize winner) Elinor Olstrom’s 8 Principles for Managing a Commons?

Currently seems to be strong in all areas except perhaps some aspects of conflict resolution (txs etc)?
Thoughts?
@premnsikka Socialising the losses of a decades-long failed (for those without assets or close to the monetary spigot) monetary policy is taking the p*ss. I’m happy to be exiting this downwardly-cyclical, inequality-driving, rent-seeking system slowly but surely.
@Greenpeaceafric Subsidies are a problem? It may be counter-intuitive but explore the use of #Bitcoin mining using renewables to subsidise the buildout. E.g @GridlessCompute or what is already happening in Virunga, DRC @SebGouspillou
AndGo (@andgo_inc ) and Diamond Hands set up and tested out Bolt Card ( @bolt_card )
We used @walletofsatoshi for charging our @lnbits account and the receiver used @breez_tech wallet to receive a contactless Lightning payment.
Amazing Lightning interoperability in action.
Wow, time travel! It’s 2021 again, now 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017…
The same tired, old arguments. Quite frankly a lazy & embarrassing post.
Meanwhile #Bitcoin continues doing exactly what it was designed to do.
Tick tock, next block.

@ftlive Don’t waste your time & effort, just buy #Bitcoin regularly and chill (without leverage or DeFi, obvs!). Cut through the noise and join the real, #monetary, revolution.
