I had a brilliant art professor in my (Catholic) university whose class I greatly enjoyed. This man had an encyclopedic memory of every single artifact in art history- that was a prerequisite to be in his position. You could name any building or item, and he'd tell you its exact date or origin, how and when it was constructed, and every material in it. Paintings, buildings, artifacts- everything. Incredible guy. Deeply religious, and we had a great understanding because he knew I was Jewish. I enjoyed his classes and deeply respected his intelligence and ability as a wonderful teacher. After uni, when I heard news of the Notre Dame fire, I shot him an email, knowing he'd be greatly upset, as a Catholic and as an art historian. He was deeply touched that I checked in with him, and glad to say that important artifacts and were recovered. I'm just imagining, a man like him, what he must be thinking seeing more and more places that he spent a lifetime learning about just being destroyed in front of a cheering crowd. This is a small thing compared to more important cost that effects citizens who are suffering this national takeover, but it points to a complete collapse of society. No society can make it if its people destroys its own history and maligns it, if it celebrates the destruction of historical monuments. Men and women fought and died in a war not so long ago to preserve these very places. This is a warning. A big, horrible warning to the UK and America. You are very, VERY close to this kind of decay. If you care for what you have- pray for it to not be destroyed.

There is genuine suffering, genuine horror happening, but the world ignores it to send funds to "starving Gazans" who are hanging out at newly opened cafes. These poor people. The heart breaks for them. Why do people turn away and do nothing? Where are the human rights activists and organizations to help them? Where is it even being shown on the news? Nowhere.

This sums up communism. First they destroy what they consider the "ultra rich". Then there's nothing left, so they go after the new rich, doctors, professors, you name it. Once everyone (except the more equal leadership) is poor and communism is in full swing, they try to snitch on someone to the government for having one penny more than they do. Communism is jealousy + violence.
