Every American more interested in video games, Hollywood gossip, and college football games than the Kurdish people facing an existential war for survival should be ashamed. Read. Think. Weep. https://t.co/cHSJ9woa1R #US4Kurdistan #Kurds #Holocaust #StandWithKurds #Trump

Every death by suicide is a traumatic event that has multiple layers of grief. We must learn to do better serving those who protect and serve the rest of us.

"More media coverage of first responder suicides would also reduce the stigma of mental illness in the profession..."

For the unlearned — “assault weapon” is a made-up term used by people who don’t understand the difference between full and semi auto and think things like barrel shrouds turn regular rifles into full auto. Assault rifle is full auto, defined by military as such. I’m right.

It’s a complicated issue that demands respect, education and understanding.

In the United States, more first responders die by suicide than in the line of duty each year. https://t.co/UvR7oEES1T

We've lost 100 officers to suicide this year. It's June 25. Can't see your state on the map? You've lost at least one.- https://t.co/rhbo7mqFDk

Disney has been filming in:

Bolivia, where abortion is illegal
Croatia, where abortion is illegal after 11 weeks
The UAE, where abortion is illegal and BEING GAY is illegal

Disney has no problem filming in any of these locations, but now suddenly Georgia is the enemy?

It is an honor to know Chief Rider and to have him as our law enforcement advisor for the Fort Bend County First Responder Chaplains Association. (and this isn't a "suck-up") :-)

Do you have these important numbers in your phone? You may not need them, but you may run across someone that does. Keep these numbers readily available.

It is the mission of #thinlinecare to provide first Responders the Emotional and Relational skills necessary to prevent this from happening!

@chad_norvell @mattlanza I agree @chad_norvell. People are staying home in fear of getting trapped in flood waters that never materialized. #irresponsible #dobetter
