@codexeditor i think APL has a similarly weird set of scoping rules (don’t quote me) and if you want to put another on the list: REBOL is another really opinionated and really strange but i think consistent language
@codexeditor it’s been a perennial nerd snipe for me but i’ve never actually followed through and built anything. https://t.co/oIWBLFD1Pu is the next branch on the tree i’ve built but not explored, although it doesn’t address the “hyperstatic global state” word binding system you reference
If you only have time to read one explainer for the current state of global political economy make sure this is the one. You won’t find a more succinct encapsulation for the fulcrum of economic and political forces shaping our contemporary condition in the 21st century.
@mattpocockuk i think it’s even more important with llms, since the semantic embedding stuff means that variable names impact code quality/understanding
we should stop using react and use a more efficient desktop app stack BUT we should take up the same amount of resources by including a physics engine in the UI layer of every program so you can do stuff like detonate a text field if you feel like it
@tldraw similar feature request: hold a key for fps mode, where moving the cursor moves the viewport (so cursor stays in the middle, but the camera pans by the amount your mouse moves)
i also assume you’ve considered a minimap
