Bad AI output? It is not the model. It is the setup. @tobi_salami_ breaks it down in 10 tips. The key: your AI needs full access to code, structure, and queries to stop guessing. That is Sense AI inside Builderius.
The difference between a website that looks like it was shot straight out of an AI tool, and that which you craft by hand usually boils down to two things:
1. How it looks.
2. How it feels.
You almost certainly would be judged to be using an AI tool even if you aren't, if the designs you produce are nothing but generic.
To solve that, I have compiled a list of 10 tips that when followed, will produce awesome designs, regardless of the prompt used, the top tier model used, or the color of the sun on the day you choose to build.
I demonstrated these over a recorded video you can watch for free.

"Static sites can't have forms."
This one sends real emails.
Built in Builderius, hosted on Cloudflare for free. The form costs nothing to run either.
Sales open May 28, 14:00 UTC. lasts 72 hours.
@learnwithmattc So the assumption is that client will use Astro by editing md files, so they need AI? That would be a weird setup. I would set it up with some clientfacing UI. It can be anything. A google sheet, an airtable, a keystatic, a payload cms ... not the md files for sure.
@DuaneStorey@learnwithmattc Most of my clients complain about complexity of Gutenberg then they ask more freedom to design their posts. There are exceptions like some universities with large teams, where the sites are pretty active and they need the flexibility. But that's rare. For me.
@learnwithmattc I have not tried those, but Keystatic is really nice and straight forward. And if need is there WP can serve here as well.
What is a harness in this context?
I pulled posts from WP Tavern's REST API into a static site built with Builderius, hosted on Cloudflare. No backend. The Collection element just handles it client-side. We didn't build this as a feature. The architecture supports it. Astro islands, inside a WordPress builder.
We wanted to ship this for quite a while. And it seemed far away for some time. After we expanded releases migrations to include WP data migration too, everything fell into place. It was a small, under the radar release that changes everything π₯
Builderius now turns your WordPress site into a static site.
Design visually, manage content in WP, deploy as pure HTML to Cloudflare, GitHub Pages, or FTP.
No server in production.
Free hosting.
More then WordPress page builder.
A full visual development environment.
@KatieKeithBarn2 Yes. It requires use of skills, and detailed documents, connection to figma mcp is useful but not obligatory. Depends also on stack (css framework, builder.... ). Task should be broken in smaller chunks. I've had my student build 1/1 smartwatch prototype based on her design too.
As we're preparing some new announcements, and pretty big news in them, I've been playing with @builderius Sense AI, building custom headers and footers with responsive menus.
