@BTohiariki When I had my daughter, I was very poorly and the gentle kindness of the anaesthetist who stayed with me, reassured my terrified husband and stroked my head will always stay with me. He stayed with us into recovery, and made us all feel safe. Epic.
If today feels like a lot (because it is…) take a deep breath. And another one. And then pop the kettle/jug on. You’re ok. Notice something that gives you joy. You can do hard things. You got this.
@dan_stubbings Some people are such utter pricks. When I was learning to drive my mum and would scream ‘prick’ very very loud at the bad drivers who intimidated a learner etc. always made me feel better and having someone earnestly call the horrible behaviour was comforting. She’s a PRICK.
Miss 6 and the gorgeous husband have secretly been wearing this, which is a lot harder than it sounds when we’re all working from home and now we await a covid test result… what a beautiful gift 💝
On a day when my glasses fogged up as I left the supermarket because it’s so humid here in Auckland, and there is so much to worry about… instead I’ve going to focus on the two who are the very beat of my heart.
