@HansAmato For how long did you take it the first time around (assuming you don’t take it continuously)? Did you get a lasting effect even after stopping/taking a break?
@SolBrah Never really enjoyed the taste. Talked about it with a friend some time ago, that it doesn’t taste like real coffee. She still uses these and was a little bit surprised when I told her I find the taste artificial. This and some oat milk is even worse.😄
Favorite binders in order.
(lower brain fog, gut dysfunction, fatigue, and anxiety)
1. Chlorella
- The only binder you can take everyday forever
- Disrupts biofilm
- High affinity for metals
- Completely natural (yes the mb guy prefers natural)
- Net positive on electrolyte balance
Make sure it has a cracked cell wall and no heavy metals, aka get a tested and trusted brand like SunChlorella or BioPure.
2. Modified Citrus Pectin
- Great affinity for metals in the gut
- Modified to go even deeper into the body
- Can be taken long term
- Over 100 studies and 30 years of success
Paired with Sodium Alginate it's clinical evidence of cancer reduction, gut healing, and metal binding is amazing.
3. Enterosgel
- Forms a gel sponge to bind endotoxins in the gut
- Does not bind to minerals
- Used in hospitals for poisoning
- May help with histamine overload
- Amazing if herxing during detox
Soviet era binder. Most protocols have this and chlorella to stop herxing. It cannot be absorbed by the body so recirculation risk is gone.
4. Zeolite
- Strong metal affinity(highest CEC of any binder)
- Alkalizing benefits
- Lowers oxidative stress
- Does not bind minerals
I'm almost completely sold on zeolite but I still worry about the structure of it and the nano sized zeolite. Risk of it dropping aluminum in the brain with the nano zeolite. If that is proven not to happen then it's moving up the list.
5. Activated Charcoal
- Useful if used correctly
- Reduces herx reactions/poisoning
- Will bind endotoxins and bile bound toxins
- Small metal binding affinity
This can be used in a pinch or 1-2x a week. I prefer others due to their strength and lower risk of constipation/electrolyte binding but charcoal still will work.
Anxiety Experiment: I would take S. Boulardii (a probiotic yeast from fruit) before bed for a few nights. If mind calms, it's not “all in your head”, it could be endotoxins in the gut.
@sinacrisps Just wondering of you and the Sina Crisps team are planning to expand or are looking for any remote support?😍 I’d love to connect if so. /Sara
🚨 Shocking results. A MUST WATCH for your safety, given all the weird stuff going on with ticks lately!
Tested against real live ticks:
◼️ Geranium oil/lemongrass product
◼️ VS. cedarwood oil product
◼️ VS. catnip oil/litsea/geraniol product
Natural things do work, but you have to use the right ones...and NOT just "10-20" drops!
What if herbalism is rooted in plant based peptides, selectively sending biological signals to our bodies? Beyond the micronutrients and phytochemicals.
Adverse events from peptides are more critical to log than anecdotal positives
Let’s understand the true risks
If you’ve had a bad experience with BPC-157 or otherwise, log it https://t.co/J9HcGlAmlT
Good, bad, and the ugly
@BioavailableNd@PrinceHodler How do one get in touch with one of your team members?🙏 Been on the wait list for about 1,5 years and understand it’s busy. I’d love to get in touch.
Remember this word: Organotherapy. I've been using it in practice and talking about it for years. We've only scratched the surface, but decades of studies suggest that organ-extracted compounds & peptides may act as tissue focused biological signals rather than simply nutrients. We're just getting started, and I could not be more excited.
Did you know that some believe fabrics have different frequencies? This may sound too woohoo, but hear me out.
Humans are said to have a frequency of 100, which is the same as organic cotton. A dying or sick person has the frequency of about 15, which is the same as polyester.
Fabrics with higher frequencies than 100, are said to be restorative. Maybe it’s no coincidence that linen is referred to as the “healing” fabric. Similar to wool, which has antimicrobial properties from the lanolin.
Higher frequencies give energy to the body whereas lower frequencies take. Maybe there’s a reason why natural fibres feel so much better.
One of the safest ways of making sure heavy metals from diet (ei. fish) do not enter your body is by supporting a healthy gut microbiome. In human clinical trials, pregnant women who consumed yogurt containing Lactobacillus rhamnosus were protected against blood increases in mercury (36%) and arsenic (78%) during pregnancy vs control that was only consuming milk.
The probiotic wasn’t “chelating” metals stored in the body. Instead, it helped bind metals in the gut, reducing how much was absorbed into the bloodstream. This is a long term game plan.
🚨 The new GRAPE SEED study showing it WORKS BETTER THAN CHEMO for cancer:
It's true.
But combining grape seed w/(high-dose) MILK THISTLE works even better (see pic).
And you have to understand: DOSE is everything.
You have to translate the mouse oral dose via body surface area calculation —& it comes out to A Lot.
You also have to take the right products (bioavailable, standardized, real).
Thankfully, usually no bad side effects (unlike chemo).
Natural Medicine DOES work, but to get very large effects (like shrinking tumors)... you have to take very large doses.
People take 2 tiny pills and then say "natural medicine doesn't work!!"
Well, it's not going to work if you don't take the effective dose.
TLDR:
• ~8 caps/day Swanson brand (siliphos) Milk Thistle.
• Plus 11-24 caps per day BlueBonnet brand (leucoselect) Grape Seed.
Spread into a few doses throughout the day.
THAT is the type & doses that studies suggest could Actually work in humans ...not 2 tiny random capsules.
(And yes, real humans have tried these amounts & it worked)
In Italy, produce is tested for nickel. I think this is the future of health. As the research grows, environmental metal exposure is as important as pesticides for labelling.
@celestialbe1ng This is some great marketing! Almost a nostalgic touch to it (🥹) as it reminds me of older commercials that used to be more wholesome and funny. Keep it up! Been wanting crisps like these for a looong time.😍
One of the most interesting connections I've come across lately is that the foundational staples of a Ray Peat staples: dairy, fruit, potatoes/rice, gelatin are naturally very low in nickel.
At the same time, multiple human studies have found higher nickel levels in people with thyroid dysfunction, and researchers are increasingly recognizing nickel as a potential endocrine disruptor.
Fascinating overlap. :)
