Here’s what you need to know🧵…
Comparing that to a landing page, where your content has garnered enough interest for a user to purposely click on a link to reach that page – which gives you a higher chance of scoring that sale or sign up.
Hope that makes sense!
Landing pages = 🤔
Hey all 😊 We’re back with some jargon-busting.
So, what is a landing page? It is a webpage that users will ‘land’ on or see after clicking on a certain link. These links usually follow some sort of content like;
⭐ Social Media post
⭐ Email
⭐ Blog posts
This is different from your homepage, which acts as the front door to the rest of your website – meaning a lower chance of conversions. Why? Well, it could be for a range of reasons but usually, when users are on your homepage, they are there for exploratory reasons.
As Beccy perfectly puts it in her ‘Customer vs Algorithm’ blog: ‘Customer behaviour must come first, and Google is only one of many tools that we can use to reach them’.

Keywords first, customers second = wrong!
With an increase of people using social media platforms for search, only focusing on keywords for a higher place on search engines is not the most important thing – customer-centric content is.
Guess whose back again with another jargon! We’re spoiling you this week, right?
Today is all about A/B Testing!
So what is it?
A/B Testing is when two or more versions of something (like an email or a website page) are compared against each other to see which one performs better
So, what are the benefits of A/B Testing?
👍 User-led results
👍 Improved content engagement based on user feedback
👍 Optimised content based on user feedback
👍 Higher user engagement
👍 Minimised Bounce Rate
Hope that helps!

💡 Introduce A/B testing to compare different versions of the same page and understand why one may be outperforming the other
💡 Look at other websites that operate in the same field as you. In what ways do your website differ and how can you improve?

We’re back with another jargon for this month of data, insights and analytics. What’s this one about? Your bounce rate.
What is a bounce rate? Well, it is when users visit a website page and then leave without interacting or exploring further.
➡ Your content is not user-friendly
So, how can you improve this? Well, by making sure you:
💡 Understand the reasons behind users leaving your website. This will allow you to put in measures to reduce this.
On the 8th of September, after our conference, we went to @EagleAndBall and had a great time!😄
With great vibes and lovely food, they will surely see us again 😉

Jake, our Paid Ads and SEO specialist, is back and shared with us a common myth he comes across when it comes to data, insights and analytics. He said that people generally think the more traffic that a website gets means the better it is.
So, how can you obtain a better SEO/PPC strategy? Well, by doing the following, such as:
🖥 Including accurate information on your website
🖥 Correct usage of headings
🖥 Using relevant keywords in the content that you write – making sure that it is relevant to your audience
