In hindsight, CC in college was basically similar to someone like Mabrey or Sab; a great player on a good team in a competitive conference who couldn’t win the national title. It was incredibly premature to crown her as ‘the best ever’ when she ultimately failed to win the title

She was the first of a new breed of players and unfortunately for her the likes of Olivia Miles are more polished versions

She can find a cool 2nd role and shine when it matters just likes KAT but she’s not a franchise player and that’s ok

Hard to argue against the NFL stadiums as World Cup venues. FIFA and US Soccer missed a real opportunity to feature our College football stadiums and even the college towns out here.
