Turkey is not part of the EU roaming zone today.

That is a fact.

But here is why including Turkey in the EU roaming area would be a logical, high-impact move for both sides.

Anlatmak istediğim, eski bir imparatorluk olarak Türkiye'nin tüm bu özelliklere biraz sahip olduğunu, Türkiye şu ülkesidir diye yapılan tartışmaların yersiz olduğunu düşünüyorum.

Yani Türkiye bir Balkan ülkesi midir? Bence evet. Peki Türkiye bir Ortadoğu ülkesi midir? Yine evet.

Your own map proves the Turkish argument. 12nm converts the central and southern Aegean into Greek waters with narrow corridors between islands.

"Innocent passage guaranteed" is peacetime law, suspended in wartime under Hague XIII at Greek discretion.

"Illegal claims" under a treaty Turkey never signed is not law, it is rhetoric.

And "areas that should be Greek" is the maximalist position you accidentally admitted in your own caption.

I think Turkey is completely okay to a division like these maps for EEZ and territorial waters. I'm not saying this is it, I'm saying Turkey can actually start negotiations from these points.

Problem is coming from maximalist voices both sides, and - I'm sorry but - they're mostly from Greece. Whomever I spoke to until now has no regard for Turkish sides existential anxieties on this topic.

Mavi vatan is a reactionary doctrine not a foundational state discipline.
