This. Team. Cheers to every person who plays an integral role in Mississippi’s hardest-working, most creative and most community-focused journalism team. Each one is a superstar. #JFPat17 #teamjfp #jfptower

Cheers to our advisory/board @angiecthomas for what she is doing for Mississippi! We look forward to collaborating with her on vital, solutions-driven #journalism across the state. ⭐️ (Watch for more adviser reveals this week!)

This is so great, @angiecthomas. (And a far cry from 17 years ago when a Belhaven rep told me the @JxnFreePress was too “vulgar” to read.) Bravo for being your authentic self and doing do much for Jackson and Mississippi, especially young people.

Y'all look at Deputy Editor Nate Schumann and Events Assistant Leslyn Smith out representing at the Purple Dress at The District in Jackson. Our team is fanned out all over the metro today and tonight. Proud of these folks. #communityfirst #teamjfp

I'm super excited about doing this Wednesday with the wonderful Willie Jones of Women for Progress of Mississippi. (IMAGINE hearing women talking about politics in Mississippi rather than the usual white male suspects.) Y'all tune in. #mselex

"Multitasking like a boss": @ashtonpittman is stalking around @BetoORourke in Canton for story and great photos while tweaking his next #ICERaidsMS-related piece, up shortly. Our art director just praised him on GroupMe:

This year, the @JxnFreePress broke our own records for number of journalism awards/honors we hauled in from three southeastern U.S. contests. Here's a post listing all the honors and links to the work. Congrats to a very hard-working, collaborative staff: https://t.co/s6yJhv2imD
