Let's make crusader @visrane famous, he calls our honorable Prime minister @narendramodi ji his guru but doesn't follow the humility and decorum he maintains in public sphere.

A patient arrived at GMC Goa demanding a Vitamin B12 injection. B12 is not an emergency and can be taken anywhere, even with a slight delay. Allegedly, the CMO advised the patient to visit a CHC.

It turned out the patient was a relative of a journalist with direct access to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, sparking a commotion.

Rane stormed into the OPD like a low-budget Bollywood cop, dragging his staff and camera crew. He publicly humiliated the CMO—a respected doctor with years of service and teaching experience—threatened them in front of juniors, and suspended them on the spot without listening.

Does Rane dare claim he "fought for the poor"? Please! No poor person has direct access to call a minister. Media reports confirm the patient was a journalist’s relative, not a marginalized individual struggling for access.

Even if the doctor erred, official procedure—investigation, notice, response, hearing—should be followed, not street-level antics. Governance should maintain dignity, not turn into a media circus.

Hello commerce graduate turned health minister misfit, you made such a big drama for a vitamin B12 injection for a senior citizen, now please take your Range Rover and your camera crew and go take care of real healthcare issues plaguing Goa. Please record all the immediate action and amends you made on these concerns also.

Your thick skinned response shows your lack of empathy towards a poorly paid and over worked healthcare force which you have only claimed was difficult to retain due to poor infrastructure and amenities in Goa's healthcare services.

And you plan to retain that healthcare work force how? By firing one of the best senior doctors looking after one of the most important services in a hospital...the emergency medicine. You don't even have the basic knowledge about vitamin B12 injections and their protocol and did not even ask the doctors there about it.

The only emergency here is that politicians need to stop renting their brains out for optics and drama and engage in publicly humiliating the healthcare professionals. Have some shame.

You are employed by the citizens. Citizens are not your employees. You take your salary from us and your Range Rover runs on fuel they were paid for by us, the citizens. Don't forget that.

1.Vitamin B12 is NOT a medical emergency.
You don’t need an MBBS to know this — even an AI can tell you. It takes 8–10 years of rigorous medical training to understand what an actual emergency is. So stop pretending you know medicine just because you hold a post.
