Shouldn’t really be a hot take here, but I’m sure if lots of these small teams would post their creative roles as remote FT jobs, I can guarantee they’d have an amazing pool of candidates. It just doesn’t make sense to me with how easy working remotely as a creative is.

Start early — build relationships before you need to ask for something. Tell the people you like that you like them, you never know when that will come back around.
