Just popping up here for the first time in 10 months as a reminder that I’m not here any more, and here is why:

My new, equivalent, home is listed at the bottom of the article.
@PickGS Well, in return, I will commit to doing a specific piece on the blog (I’m gonna avoid a deadline!) going into the detail of the ten points as laid out in the newspaper article
@PickGS To be fair, I’ve not covered family travel on the blog. But it’s quite a good idea so thank you!
By the way, I dropped back into Twitter as I wanted to clarify this point but I’m now mainly at BlueSky if anyone wants to join me: https://t.co/UvSWDyGcGw
@PickGS@stevepearce8@Captain_Deltic No worries at all! I totally understand. I just wanted to explain that I wrote a piece to a specific brief. I don’t want to imply I was unhappy with the brief - I was very happy writing it, but it was intended for a general newspaper audience. My blog, by contrast, is for us!
@PickGS@stevepearce8@Captain_Deltic I do detailed long form analysis on my own blog. None of which is about families and none of which is a wish list. But this was a specific article on a specific topic for a national newspaper. You can see my blog here, if you wish: https://t.co/LJypGuDzZ1
I’ve picked up quite a few new followers today.
Which is nice of you!
But you’re following me in the wrong place.
I’m now here:

@SimonCalder If I remember rightly, I said it is very confusing that all three stations are run separately by three management teams and that it would be a good thing if the three management teams would get into a pub together and agree a single wayfinding scheme for the entire complex

I publish a new Freewheeling Podcast episode every week and multiple Freewheeling blog posts.
But the only one I'm going to link to on this site is this one...

My first Freewheeling Blog post since I paused for three years to join Transport for London.
During that time, I quit Twitter.

Last week, I pushed out the first new episode of my podcast for three years. Previously I'd have Tweeted something like this. But I haven't, because I've quit Twitter.
Here's why - and why I want you to as well.

@christianwolmar @elonmusk I agree. It’s incredibly difficult. The network effect makes it an almost impregnable monopoly. It’s of commercial value to all of us. But every tweet is donating content to a company now openly associated with a proto-fascist.
