🌖⚡️ Billionaire Bob Bigelow just dropped why the Moon might be the actual prize.
40 tons of helium-3 pulled from lunar soil could power the entire United States for a year in clean aneutronic fusion reactors.
Same guy who funded AATIP and sat in the Oval Office telling Trump about recovered craft and bodies.
Is the new space race really about energy, or did someone already figure out how to run those reactors?

This animation captures a spectacular lava plume erupting from the Tvashtar Patera volcano on Jupiter's moon Io. The images were obtained by the *New Horizons* probe during its flyby of the gas giant in March 2007, when Io was merely a secondary target for the spacecraft.
Mars Sample Return mission is dead in the latest funding agreement. Which means China will likely beat the US to returning the first samples from Mars. Perseverance has collected the best samples it could, and those will remain on Mars for a long time.
But it had become ridiculously expensive, partly because political support from Congress allowed it to.

📡 Astronomers have detected radio signals coming directly from an exoplanet for the first time.
No, it’s #notaliens.
Using the MeerKAT radio telescope in South Africa, researchers detected repeating radio bursts from Beta Pictoris b, a young giant planet about 63 light-years away. The signals appear to come from auroras generated by the planet’s powerful magnetic field.
The discovery could give astronomers a new way to study the magnetic fields of worlds beyond our solar system.
The research is currently undergoing peer review.

The landing location has officially been named for NASA's Dragonfly mission!
The global body responsible for designating objects in space has approved a name for the large dune field on Saturn's moon Titan: Ahmakiq Undae.
Here's the story behind it: https://t.co/fnKD6NnvMp
For the first time, astronomers directly observed stellar wind flowing from a giant star onto its companion, causing powerful X-ray flares. Data from the XRISM telescope, which is led by @JAXA_en in partnership with @NASA and with contributions from @ESA, revealed the cause. 🧵
A Dance of Plasma: A Giant Prominence in the Sun's Corona 🔥
Astronomers have captured a massive eruption of solar plasma held above our star's surface by a powerful magnetic field.
They’re only showing us the blurry stuff first. 🛸👀
Pentagon drops grainy UAP clips every few years while whistleblowers like Grusch keep describing crash retrievals and reverse engineering programs that never make the official videos.
Looks a lot like they’re letting the public get comfortable with “something’s up there before they ever roll out the actual hardware they pulled off recovered craft.
Would you even believe the high-res version if they dropped it tomorrow?
Researchers have sorted out and deciphered thousands of letters written in cuneiform script on clay tablets found in Mesopotamia. 📜These are eerily modern, showing that people four millennia ago shared the same interests and concerns as we do today https://t.co/x7GGp3fpns
