And the boy, character B? He's a protagonist archetype, even if he isn't the main character. He starts off relatively weak but steadily grows stronger and stronger throughout the story. If she's the bodyguard, then he's the 'hero' of the story.

Finished writing my next request one shot, so I went back to outlining my longer fic during the couple minutes I had for lunch today and just now realized my big reveal for the third act makes way more sense at the end of Act 2, so now I have to go back and re-outline the couple
