Many things in your post don’t make any sense. SSA - medical records, what? But in addition the person (based on the description and timing in the articles) was never in doge. Why would someone leave to join contracting companies who were all targeted to be cut by doge? Easy to claim being in doge in 2025.

Important to clarify:
The sources of skepticism here are long time career government employees who are trying to retaliate against Elon for Doge. Their teams were directly impacted. They can influence non technical political appointees with incorrect info (as they did here)

On hiring tech talent into the federal government: did you know that we trust HR professionals (with little to no background in technology) to build list of “qualified” candidates for the technical team to review? We literally empower people without knowledge on a topic to gate keep candidates from people with technical knowledge. And this is done manually. Which slows down the whole process. This is one part of why teams are so afraid to lose anyone that has an inkling of technical skills - the barrier to bringing anyone new in is high, painful, and includes steps that don’t make sense. I’ve been trying to assess TTS ability to hire a single engineer since start of July.
Hoping that @skupor ‘s initiative will start to fix this.
