The push isn’t over. Although I know the government is working hard on our behalf, we still have no flights out of Peru to get us back to our loved ones. I urge the government to keep going.

Please don’t leave us filled with empty hope. This sounds promising however please keep us informed. It has been a while already with an empty stream of ‘updates’ and I don’t want to get crushed by false promises.

UK Government is working to make flights available from next week for British people who wish to leave Peru.

@yeah4bernie @ukstuckinperu @UKinPeru I’ve been in South America since the start of January. I had volunteering in Peru in April. Many of the people stuck here didn’t come out here when there was a clear threat of corona virus and had flights for later on.
