We're hosting the first @ONS@UNECE#MachineLearning Group Coffee and Coding sessions next Wednesday 27 April.
An interactive introductory session discussing #MachineLearning foundations and the theory behind these techniques. Book your place today 👇https://t.co/vx8hauSiB5
I will never not find it weird preparing to teach a session on creative #R#coding via MS Teams rather than in person to @ONS. I miss in person teaching (despite the fact this way I can teach whilst studying at @UniUtrecht)
Final Day in the @ONS today after an incredible summer placement with them. I don't think I've ever worked with a more inclusive, passionate and lovely team; I really hope to be able to work with them again soon! I didn't think 11 weeks could go so quickly!
Super excited to be offering a session at my current placement in creative processes within #R, in particular creating artwork in R, inspired by the work of @djnavarro as well as many others! Let's hope other people are as excited as I am to be creative in this area! #Rstudio
Excited to announce my new role as a Student Researcher in Early Prognosis After Trauma at @amsterdamumc in September to tie into my Thesis project in the same area! Looking forward to this new role!

Looking for a gentle intro to R for your daily analytic work?
Then get started with "Ready for R"
It aims to teach useful skills (visualization, loading, filtering & manipulation, simple statistics) that students can immediately use in their work.

After two months of teaching online, all slides, exercises and video lectures (47 videos on total) of my @ResMaPsychology courses on Structural Equation Modeling are now online at https://t.co/DFZwzwYKzM!
Back for round 3 of @Complicite@SimonMcBurney The Encounter, already 10 minutes in and It feels like I am back in theatre loving every minute.... catch it while you can: https://t.co/sjqLUNwbMG
@Tamara_Wiehe@ONS I'll never forget those connections I made at Reading! I hope I can (at some point) bring my new skills back to help a new generation of students! Theatres have really been mixed during the lockdown, many have been doing tons of online training which is free online!
@Tamara_Wiehe@ONS Thanks! Honestly most of my free time is spent investing in developing my skills in R as it is honestly so much fun. Who'd have thought just over 12 months of coding has lead me to multiple website releases and improving educational practices! Such a stark change from PWP work!!
You know you have been #R#Coding & playing #DnD too much in one week when you consider making a #warlock who's patron is @hadleywickham and has mastery of the statistical arts (aka Divination...). I'd be curious to see how it played out though...
ICYMI, Springer has released 65 #DataScience books, downloadable as PDFs for free as 1-click downloads, including some using #rstats:
