Just truly awful. As recently as ST2 I was treated similarly in a well known hospital -threatened by a consultant (of all people, who should be aware of our issues) for making a coffee during an ‘unauthorised’ coffee break - and therefore my lunch would be shortened as a result

Overworked, underpaid, and subjected to unnecessary hostility. An NHS doctor was prevented from accessing the ward kitchen for a simple glass of tap water.

It’s no surprise so many doctors are leaving for countries where they’re valued, respected, and treated with basic dignity.

A Physicians ‘Associate’ gets 2 WEEK course completely free.

A new doctor earns >£11,000 / 35% less than a new PA.
