Incredibly excited and grateful to share this story after many years of work. Huge thank you to my mentor @TheresaLuLab and all our collaborators for making this a reality. #immunology#science#lupus
It's out! Our story shows that IFN inhibits Langerhans cell ADAM17 in photosensitivity and is a resource for transcriptomic profiles of non-lesional skin from 3 lupus models. Congratulations to Thomas, Victoria, Ethan and coauthors!

I am happy to announce that I have started my own Group at the HI-TRON in Mainz. My lab will focus on targeting cancer-associated fibroblasts in skin cancer to reprogram the immune response towards tumor resolution. Excited to be working in such a dynamic and collaborative space!
After 2 years as a postdoc in the @TheresaLuLab, it's time for me to say goodbye to this incredible lab. I have had the best time working, laughing and science-ing with you. Thanks for mocking my British accent & all the podcast-worthy discussions. I will miss it immensely❤️
What an honor this was to be able to honor my PhD mentor, Joe Madri MD, PhD. Thank you, Joe, for being such a role model and your support and wisdom! Thank you also to Pathology Chair Chen Liu MD, PhD for the invitation to speak and the warm homecoming visit!
