Apologies to Ken and the Saints Hall Of Fame show, and #Saints fans everywhere for bailing last minute.
I take the commitments I make very seriously.
I do have an excused absence, I promise. I’ll share later in the week.
Love you all!
Serious answer.
I’ve always given my best to whatever team I’ve played for.
I played 12 years here, won a Super Bowl, All five of my kids born here. I live 10 minutes from the Superdome.
Although I’m not originally from here, this is my home.
@thomasmorstead Hey man I wanna ask a serious question. How do you think teams and fans of teams u play for feel that it seems that you are always rooting for the Saints. You not even from here.
“It’s no secret it’s been a rough start personally…I’m grateful that this staff hasn’t blinked an eye and gave me that opportunity.”

I’d like to share a moment I had with my son Beckett during the Saints Monday Night Football game.
Background, Monday night was my first time attending a Saints game in the stands, ever. A friend invited me and my two older boys to come make a memory together.
As we were sitting down watching the game in the second quarter, I asked my son Beckett where he and the rest of my family used to sit when I was playing for the Saints six years ago. His response, “I don’t have any memories of you playing for the Saints.”
Talk about a dagger, for some reason that stung pretty deep and made me appreciate the night even more.
You see, I couldn’t go two steps without somebody give me a high five or fist bump, all the encouraging comments from fans, getting selfies as we walked the Superdome. I could see my boys starting to realize that Dad was a part of something special back in the day. Thanks for giving me this gift.
Love you all!
