@DonnaG2030@ZelenskyyUa Saying Iran had to happen doesn’t make war justified. There’s a difference between addressing a threat and believing military action is the only solution.
@DonnaG2030@ZelenskyyUa Defending your country and protecting your people isn’t the same as starting a war. The real question is, should Ukraine be expected to surrender its sovereignty just to achieve peace?
Today, I met with young people from the countries of the Carpathian Eight. They are currently in Ukraine, in our Ivano-Frankivsk region. This is very important because the Carpathian Initiative is about the future and development, and that means young people above all. And we are designing our integration projects, including the C8, with the future of young Ukrainians in mind.
We discussed Ukraine’s relations with the countries of the Carpathian macro-region and the importance of unity among us, as well as the conditions for returning home from abroad and housing support programs. I expect the Cabinet of Ministers to step up communication about all the government programs that offer favorable terms for buying a home. We need to fight to keep our young people in Ukraine while encouraging people from other countries to come here and help us rebuild and create. Thank you for the conversation!
We need better transport and logistics. We need more capacity to move large volumes of goods. We need to move faster with the modernization of our roads and railways. We need military mobility that improves our defense capability. We need more storage facilities, more renewables, development of region’s critical minerals, stronger trade links and stronger manufacturing cooperation. We need to build more interconnectors between our energy systems. And of course we need to bring much more investment into the Carpathian region, which is a natural European gateway for routes coming from the South Caucasus and Asia through the Black Sea. These routes are active today, and they will remain active in the future.

Sometimes it seems that the talk and promises have remained just that—talk. Those words and promises need to be turned into action. That would be an honest act. Thank you very much President Zelenskyy for hard, resolute and loyal work for Ukraine and Ukrainians 🫡🙏❤️🇫🇮
