$USDso features a highly notable aspect: the yield generated from its stablecoin reserves doesn't just flow out of the ecosystem—it is channeled back into Somnia DeFi. 🟣
The model operates quite simply:
USDso is backed by USD-denominated assets via Frax’s frxUSD infrastructure, including yield-bearing assets like U.S. Treasury Bills.
When these reserves generate yield:
→ 90% of the yield associated with USDso held in eligible protocols is allocated back to those very protocols.
This allocation is based on TWAL (Time-Weighted Average Liquidity), prioritizing stable, long-term USDso liquidity over rapid capital inflows driven solely by incentive farming.
Recipient protocols can then utilize this yield to:
• Incentivize users
• Boost LP rewards
• Lower borrowing costs
• Build deeper liquidity
→ The remaining 10% goes into the ecosystem insurance fund, serving as a backstop or first-loss capital in the event of an incident.
The most compelling feature is the flywheel effect:
Increased USDso usage → deeper liquidity → higher reserve yield → more value flowing back into Somnia DeFi → stronger liquidity.
This demonstrates how a stablecoin can serve as growth infrastructure for the entire ecosystem, rather than merely acting as a USD-pegged token.
A key detail: USDso holders do not receive the yield directly. Instead, value is allocated to the protocols that are actively generating utility and liquidity for USDso.
If executed effectively, this mechanism could help Somnia transform liquidity into a self-reinforcing asset over time.
Note: USDso is neither issued nor guaranteed by the Somnia Foundation, and the Yield Allocation Framework remains subject to change.

🎂 **1 Year of Somnia Mainnet.**
A look back at the past year through impressive figures:
⚡ Over **1.83 billion transactions** processed
👛 Over **6.59 million wallet addresses**
🛡️ **33 validators** securing the network
🚀 Test performance reaching **over 1 million TPS**
👥 Approximately **10.87k somnia:native holders**
⏱️ Sub-second finality
⛽ Transaction fees under one cent
What interests me most isn't just the performance metrics, but how Somnia will translate this infrastructure into real-world utility across DeFi, prediction markets, trading, and on-chain applications.
One year is a memorable milestone—but for Somnia, the story seems to be just beginning.
**We’re just getting started. 💙**

*This post shares information and personal views; it is not an investment recommendation.*
@Somnia_Network The first year proves Somnia can handle serious scale. Now the bigger challenge is turning that infrastructure into sustained users, liquidity, trading activity, and applications people actually return to. The tech foundation is there — year two is about proving real demand.
I’m watching both, but ecosystem growth matters more to me. Price can move quickly, while sustained volume, liquidity, active users, and real usage on products like dreamDEX are harder to fake. If Somnia can turn its performance advantage into consistent onchain activity, that’s where the bigger story starts.
That’s what makes this phase interesting. The narrative is becoming much clearer: DeFi, prediction markets, real-time trading and agent-native apps are starting to connect into one bigger picture. Price momentum is encouraging, but I’m even more interested in whether product usage and liquidity keep following that direction.
@0x_Empire@Somnia_Network@SomniaEco@dreamDEXSomnia That’s the best way to approach Somnia in my view. Pick one app, use it for a real purpose, and learn the ecosystem from actual experience. dreamDEX, Prophecy, or the builder side all show a different part of what Somnia is trying to become.

Exactly. The 7-day recovery is encouraging, but I’m watching what happens underneath the chart. If trading volume, liquidity, users, and activity across Somnia’s DeFi and prediction markets keep growing, that would make the recovery much more meaningful than a short-term price spike.
@Chau09_Dr Agreed. The rebound is nice to see, but real conviction comes from sustained users, liquidity, trading activity, and builders shipping on Somnia. Price can move fast — ecosystem growth is what gives that move a stronger foundation.
somnia:native is showing a notable recovery. 🟣
After a period of facing downward pressure, the price has gradually regained momentum. Current data indicates a roughly 20% rise in SOMI over the past seven days, signaling a return of short-term buying interest.
What interests me more than just a green candle is whether this recovery is backed by actual volume and activity within the Somnia ecosystem.
Somnia is currently expanding its focus into DeFi, trading, prediction markets, and real-time application infrastructure. If network usage continues to grow, that will be a more significant factor to watch than short-term price fluctuations.
Personally, I remain cautious but am keeping a close, positive eye on somnia:native. While the recovery is a good sign, the market needs further confirmation before a sustainable trend can be established.

@M3rik00 Exactly. A fresh leaderboard keeps the competition fair, while preserving the old history still gives credit to the people who put in the work before. Clean reset without erasing the grind.
Somnia REP v3 has now been live for 12 days. 🟣
The old v2 chapter is closed, August rewards were handled under the previous rules, and September started completely fresh under REP v3.
That means everyone is now competing on the new system from zero.
What I like most is that nothing from v2 was erased. Previous placements still remain on your profile, so the history stays visible while the new leaderboard creates a fresh race.
12 days in, and the competition is already getting serious.
For creators supporting @Somnia_Network , REP v3 is no longer something to prepare for.
It’s live.
It’s counting.
And every quality post matters.
Fresh leaderboard. New opportunities. Same grind.

Inception has officially concluded. 🌌
The @dac_chain Testnet was more than just a trial phase—it was a crucial step toward building a blockchain designed for quantum resistance and real-world applications.
Through Inception, the community worked together to:
⚡ test infrastructure
🛡️ verify security mechanisms
🔍 validate network operations
🧪 identify limitations and improve the system
Every test, every bug discovered, and every piece of data collected has brought DAC closer to a refined mainnet version.
Inception has ended, but the journey continues.
🚀 Next stop: Interstellar.
