We are excited to share our monthly progress update. This is the first comprehensive update of this type that we are publishing, so feel free to let us know how we can adjust the format in the future.
Technical
We previously announced that the first draft of the specification for our second PoW task was finalized. This task is based on the fundamental problem of quantum compilation, which is essentially concerned with changing the particular sequence of quantum gates that a circuit consists of in order to make it cheaper or more reliable to run on real quantum hardware. Quantum compilation continues to be an area of active research, and the ability to perform it well and quickly will be vital to the development of quantum software in the future. This makes it a perfect problem to be at the core of our new blockchain task, as was outlined in our previous update.
During the last month, we implemented a fully working prototype for the mining and verification procedures associated with the task in its current specification and conducted extensive testing and benchmarking on that prototype. While the task concept itself proved to be viable and produced valuable data in block solutions, we encountered issues when trying to reduce the block verification time to a level suitable for the current network structure. Due to this, our research team is currently exploring ways to alter the task specification to mitigate this problem while keeping the core problem of quantum computation at its heart.
Executive
Throughout the last two months, our team has been in talks with several venture capital investors regarding potential funding for the team's expansion over the course of the next year. Due to the ongoing nature of these talks, the team decided not to share any additional information until the matter concludes in the coming months. Please be assured that we will share more updates with you as soon as we can.
Great to see $QTC back at $1 🔥
Quantum computing is the most obvious untapped narrative, and @qubitcoinx is positioned to be the unicorn here.
Study the founders and advisors. It tells you all you need to know.
Amazing chart. See you at all-time highs!
qPoW - the architecture powering Qubitcoin.
The workflow combines:
* SHA3 hashing
* parametrized quantum circuits
* quantum sampling
* classical verification
The first prototype was benchmarked both on IBM quantum hardware (ibmq_quito) and classical simulators.
It later became one of the foundations behind Qubitcoin’s qPoW architecture.
Figure from the original research paper
“Quantum Proof of Work with Parametrized Quantum Circuits“ by @MYShalaginov & @MikeDubrovsky.
qPoW is actually insane tech.
SHA3 hashing + parametrized quantum circuits + quantum sampling + classical verification all combined into one architecture.
(@MYShalaginov and @MikeDubrovsky are cooking hard here. Remember that Dubrovsky is the advisor of @kaspa aswell. Kaspa hit 5 billion dollars.)
And this wasn’t just theory the prototype was benchmarked on real IBM quantum hardware.
@qubitcoinx is building way deeper tech than most people realize.
Wait till VC’s cexes start investing in to @qubitcoinx.
It can be close it can be a bit further away but it will happen.
There is no other team that is this connected to quantum giants like @GoogleQuantumAI and @nvidia.
Our founder/the founder (@MYShalaginov) of $QTC is lead at Quera a quantum company funded by @nvidia and @GoogleQuantumAI with 200 million dollars.
@qubitcoinx is still in early stages but if one thing is almost certain is it that the connections to Google and Nividia are there.
I mean a google or Nividia fund will absolute skyrocket the price of @qubitcoinx and I believe one day it will get the grants but what counts now is the connections.
Another great connection is our advisor @caoyudong, he’s lead at @BCG the Boston consultancy group is worth billions and a connection to @qubitcoinx. A man can dream but what if those companies start investing in $QTC?
Another great one is our other advisor Dubrosky known for advising Kaspa daglabs in early days. Kaspa as a crypto project also a POW grew to billions in the bear market. Now dubrovsky advises @qubitcoinx on the QPOW side.
There is more, there is way more, I can tell you guys endless about @qubitcoinx and the foundation of it but I’ll let you guys do some research to.
If ur interested go and read this form:

If u want to invest: Make an non kyc account at @safetrade
https://t.co/jTNIvivTCY
$QTC is one of the only projects in green. Wonder if people are noticing?
Checked the orderbooks on @safetrade aswell and I'm noticing some big orders, while there are not many sell orders.
Quantum bitcoin is all I want and have to say.
Study.
@qubitcoinx@safetrade
https://t.co/oSNHm8gJOI
What if I tell you that there’s a project currently trading at 3 million dollar market cap that is sponsoring the biggest quantum related projects and companies worth billions.
@qubitcoinx sponsoring the hackathon that will be held at @MIT. Together with other companies such as @nvidia and many more big companies. Insane if you ask me.
This will attract a lot of attention from web2/3 investors at this hackathon and will probably give a large boost to @qubitcoinx. Im telling you now, DON’T underestimate this team.
What about the chart? The chart is currently in a down trend but it doesn’t take a lot of liquid to get this in to uptrends. Unfortunately crypto people are still the ones that like to follow the herd when there are green candles, but you would outplay the market if you get in on those downtrends with good projects.
I won’t leave this ship until the token price hits 3/4 digits.
SUPERQUANTUM @qubitcoinx $QTC
We are excited to introduce Superdense Consensus (SDC) - a new and unique multi-task Proof-of-Work architecture.
Qubitcoin can now run multiple independent PoW challenges simultaneously on the same chain, each with its own difficulty adjustment and activation schedule.
The first public code release is now available on the sdc-testing branch:
🔗 https://t.co/AzxgSE9T2S
We invite developers, researchers, and miners to explore the implementation, run tests, experiment with new workloads, and share feedback.
Additional technical details are included in the updated README.
Important notes:
– This is an early-stage release; expect rough edges
– Unit/integration tests and additional features are actively in development
– Do not use the binaries compiled from the new branch in the production environments (critical bugs may be present)
Join us tonight for our next AMA!

🎉 Happy 1st Birthday, Qubitcoin!
One year ago, we turned GPUs into quantum simulators and launched the world’s first quantum-inspired Proof of Work network.
For our anniversary we prepared 10 fascinating facts about our journey over this incredible first year:
1️⃣ The Launch Date Mystery
We launched on October 29, 2024 - exactly one year ago today! But here's a fun secret: we originally planned to launch on Halloween for the spooky vibes, but decided to go a day early when our tests were fully completed at 11:47 PM on the 28th. We took it as a sign from the quantum universe.
2️⃣ From 700 to 3,000 GPUs
In just one year, we've grown from a handful of early miners to over 700 participants running 3,000+ GPUs making us the world's largest decentralized quantum computing network. That's more distributed quantum simulation power than most university research labs!
3️⃣ The "Bitcoin Blueprint" Legacy
Qubitcoin is built on a Bitcoin Core fork, but with quantum superpowers. We kept the 21 million token supply cap as a tribute to Satoshi, but instead of wasting energy on useless hash puzzles, every single mining operation preforms quantum simulation.
4️⃣ The Night We Almost Broke Physics
During early testing in September 2024, one of our developers ran a simulation that produced results that seemed to violate known quantum mechanics. We spent 72 sleepless hours convinced we'd discovered something groundbreaking... until we found a sign error in the rotation gate implementation. The bug is now immortalized as "The Minus Sign Incident" in our dev chat history.
5️⃣ NVIDIA's cuQuantum is Our Secret Weapon
We leverage NVIDIA's cuQuantum SDK (specifically cuStateVec) to run our default GPU simulations. A 16-qubit circuit simulation takes just ~1 millisecond on a typical RTX 5060. That means we're processing quantum circuits faster than you can blink - literally!
6️⃣ The "Bring Your Own Solver" Revolution
Unlike traditional mining where everyone runs identical code, our BYOS (Bring Your Own Solver) architecture means miners can plug in their own custom quantum simulators, CPU-based, GPU-optimized, tensor networks, or even actual quantum hardware. We've had miners experiment with everything from Raspberry Pi clusters to modified atom trap systems.
7️⃣ The Accidental Academic Citation
Three months after launch, a quantum computing researcher from ETH Zurich accidentally cited data from our network in a preprint paper about variational quantum algorithms. They thought our public simulation results were from a university cluster! When they discovered it was from a cryptocurrency network, they were so impressed they joined as a validator and now contributes quantum circuit benchmarks.
8️⃣ The 24-Qubit Challenge Bounty
In March 2025, we launched a bounty challenge: successfully simulate a specific 24-qubit circuit faster than our implementation and win QTC. A team from South Korea won using a custom algorithm that was 3.7x faster. Plot twist: they were high school students working on a science fair project. We hired one of them as a part-time contributor after graduation, and their algorithm is now under our continued research.
9️⃣ Our Not-So-Secret Motto
Our GitHub readme cheekily ends with "It has not escaped our notice that the system we introduced suggests possible new findings in the realm of physics simulations" - a direct homage to Watson and Crick's famous DNA paper understatement. We like to think we're being similarly humble about potentially revolutionizing how humanity develops quantum algorithms.
🔟 The Texas Connection
Superquantum, the organization maintaining the protocol, is based in Texas which gives us the unique distinction of being the only quantum computing cryptocurrency project where you can legitimately say "Everything's bigger in Texas, including our quantum circuits."
We’ll be celebrating our 1st anniversary at @MIT on November 14,
together with researchers, developers, and early contributors who helped bring quantum-inspired Proof of Work to life.
During the event, we’ll also host the qPoW demo.
Thank you to every miner, validator, developer, and supporter who's helped us prove that cryptocurrency mining doesn't have to be purposeless computation - it can literally advance human understanding of quantum, and we are here to make it a reality.
May the qubits be with you!
Here's to Year Two! 🥂
