We can reuse so much more than we realise. What better way for businesses cut down on waste & reduce cost.
Let’s make #York the most recycle/reuse city around.
@DSkaith It’ll be the copy and paste tweets that I look forward to. “Under immense pressure” “making the right calls in tough situations” “leading from the front” “he’s got my full support” etc etc
@DSkaith@CityofYork Make them all level - if the pavements can't be levelled down level the road up. Yes, Stonegate, for example is a historic street but it can retain its look and charm and still be made safer.
Just had a meeting with the local PCSO & PC for York, they are keen to hear any issues or concerns businesses may have or had. Please let me know anything you’d like me to mention to them on your behalf. @YorkRetailForum @indieyorkmap
All tomorrow’s bookings at Kirkstall Road have now cancelled… but we will be open .. Titantic violin style… Thali Mega Deal.. Beers, Takeouts… Chais .. Walk ins .. Tunes and more Tunes… call in .. x 👍🏾👊🏾
@TommyBanks8@TommyBanks8 I’m as chair of @YorkRetailForum getting insight from businesses in York & relaying information to @RachaelMaskell team with any concerns or what businesses may think is needed to help support the industry. Any ideas or thoughts you have would be greatly received.
York really does have a lack of seating in the centre, especially when Xmas market is on. Easy to buy food but nowhere to sit and enjoy it. @mccyork @CityofYork needs to be a focus.
Any hospitality biz in #York seeing cancellations due to new restrictions/covid etc? I’d like to hear from you as I will be sending a letter to both York MPs @RachaelMaskell@JulianSturdy to see what help we can get. Share this to get out to people @indieyorkmap @YorkRetailForum
@ChrisBurn_Post Was this work put out to competitive tender or is it a case of convenient cronyism? What is her skillset and experience in the tourism industry?
@ChrisBurn_Post That’s convenient with Wakefield being Peter Box’s former workplace. I’d like to know Ms McRae’s tourism credentials to be able to make such a judgment
This is outrageous & just adding to the ongoing saga on the BBH access situation. Once again it highlights absolutely the need for plans/infrastructure first before you restrict or remove people from the city. If we don’t allow BBH cars fine, but @CityofYork better make sure the
The mess down Finkle St is outrageous again. This is nearly 12pm on a busy day just yards from the busy Xmas market. Can we get this sorted for good @theyorkbid@CityofYork @YorkBIDRangers
