@TonyMcKelvie His elbow was caused by Trusty jumping into him and forcing his arm up, not deliberately, which also causes the handball. The hand is in front of the head and if there is any contact it's minimal as can be seen by the flight of the ball. Never a penalty.
@RoboGoose_@DanisMCFC So Pep has spent double what Arteta has spent in not quite double the time and won 20 times the trophies? Even if you win the League and UCL that's 6 times the trophies. Spending money wisely wins you trophies. Spending it stupidly gets you the sack. Both have spent money.
@RoboGoose_@DanisMCFC And he's backed it up with the aim of the game, trophies. Something Arteta has yet to do, apart from one FA Cup won with Emery's team.
@RoboGoose_@DanisMCFC First thing he done was ship out Hart. KDB wasn't part of the spine yet. Toure was a bit part by then. He hasn't spent £2 bn in total so God knows where you get your figures from. What he took over was a team in need of transition and he done that in his 2nd season.
@RoboGoose_@DanisMCFC City finished 4th the season before Guardiola came in. KdB only joined the year before Pep and only scored 7 PL goals so hardly superstar. Navas at RB, Otamendi CB, Kolarov LB, Fernando CM
@McfcscGorton@Londonblue_2 Bribed the investigation. It's ridiculous. City didn't go for Rice because he was deemed too expensive, who signed him? Poor little Arsenal. There were no rules when they were building themselves up, earning the Bank of England nickname. Fuck them all.
@fretteree@DxnCity Not illegal to be in an offside position. Only interfering with play in am offside position is an offence. He doesn't interfere with play and then Guehi makes a cock up under no pressure. Perfectly good goal by the laws of the game.
@_DIGB Walter Smith's anti-football ring any bells? Souness narrowing the pitch against Dynamo Kiev? Guardiola isn't the problem, it's the managers who try to stop the other team rather than trying to impose their game.
@BirdYorkshire@PGMOL_FA The really bad ones are the seemingly innocuous ones like a corner when it should be a goal kick, a throw the wrong way, no offside flag and then someone else makes a late run. So many ways a ref/lino team can influence the game. Blew for a foul for City when there was a break on
@thegingerwig Not up to the ref to keep players on the pitch, the refs job is to apply the laws of the game. Should have been a red card, although he should already have been on a yellow for persistent fouling.
