@darrencasper This video is interesting. His hypothesis is that social media has created two different realities about Charlie Kirk. On the right, they see him living out his faith. On the left, they seem him espousing racist and white supremacist ideologies.

@darrencasper Charlie Kirk's death is tragic. There's no place for political violence in our country. And I love that he had a love for the Lord.
That being said... I really struggle with him being deified as a martyr and saint. He said some really terrible things.

@darrencasper@IndyCarOnFOX@IndyCar Someday we need to watch racing together. Will Buxton just joined the IndyCar team on Fox from F1 TV. He's fantastic.
@ukglo Hey George! It's Justin. In 2008, I was at the @librarycongress and was the crazy 23 year old on the team that helped spur on the Flickr Commons. Just saw about the foundation. Don't use X anymore but signed on just to try and connect and say hi. :) Would love to catch up

“…discussion about whether President Biden has grown mentally fuzzy and too old for a second term, I’d like to add this question: How would we even notice Donald Trump’s lapse into incoherence, when derangement is essentially his brand.” @nytopinion

Arkansas will ban COVID vaccine mandates for public employees.
And we will publish all potential risks related to the vaccine so Arkansans can make informed decisions about their health.
Lindsey Graham on Trump in 2016: “He's a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot ...He doesn't represent my party…He’s unfit for office.”
Lindsey Graham today: “One thing I want people to know, I am standing with President Trump. I am proudly supporting him.”
L.G. is the reason so many Americans hate politicians.

To clarify on the Starlink issue: the Ukrainians THOUGHT coverage was enabled all the way to Crimea, but it was not. They asked Musk to enable it for their drone sub attack on the Russian fleet. Musk did not enable it, because he thought, probably correctly, that would cause a major war.
The world lost an incredible person and internet pioneer this last week. Molly Holzschlag (@mholzschlag) was an early advocate for Web site design and accessibility standards.
https://t.co/hYAlVTrmvz
Those standards made the Web easier to access, regardless of someone's browser, device, or disability.
I got to know Molly when I was a web developer and working for the W3C. Not only was she a brilliant and tireless advocate, she was kind, funny, and beloved.
“Community has to be at the center of urban development. Properly inclusive policy allows residents to be actors in the community, to have a sense of anchorage and to invest emotionally.”

“Congress should try once again to clean up the internet the way cities cleaned up their red-light districts. The law must do what it can to restrict access to pornography for children online.” @DavidAFrench@nytopinion

So instead of instituting meaningful gun regulation, which most of the country supports, we're making kids carry clear backpacks or banning them entirely. What the hell!
