@hmalviya9 When i am reading Bhagwat Puran,I can’t stop thinking about whatever is mentioned there. When i compared everything is still as it is in our society. Our way of living have changed which is normal according to Kalyuga effect. But for devotees their goal is unchanged & easier.

Who is God and why do we worship Him?

Maybe we don’t have self-belief. Maybe we can’t trust other humans. Maybe we feel cheated in this world. Maybe we feel like belonging to an idea of comfort. Maybe we need someone to anchor our mistakes and worries, and get free from them.

It looks like God might be an anchor to set you free from all those emotionally heavy moments in life where you feel like losing touch with your existence.

When the ego dies, God enters the scene.

But when the idea of God itself becomes an ally with your ego, it makes no change in life.

And that’s what happens to most people who worship God nowadays.

They are so into the idea of God that their ego can’t even deny its non-existence; some of them even think God looks like a human.

They all have different faiths coming from different geographies and demographics.

The idea of God makes us united; it helps put us in order, and it helps us behave less like animals.

The idea of God is powerful enough that when you fully surrender to it, it could drive you to achieve impossible things in life. When the fear and expectations of achieving an outcome get erased from your mind, you are set free from all the conditioning, and you bet on yourself, realizing God will help you.

What’s God in that case, though?

Maybe you. It’s inside you.

It sits in your heart. You just need to evoke that.

@hmalviya9 What I thought after reading those Rajoguna/Tamoguna inspired stories that WHAT I DON’T NEED TO DO IN MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY.

BUT THOSE LOOKING FOR EXCUSES THEY WILL FOLLOW THESE PATHS AND JUSTIFY THEIR ACTIONS.

PS: Puranas gave equal opportunities to both Daivik & Asuri actions.

@hmalviya9 Recently i read 100-200+ stories from Bhagavatam Puran. These stories needs deep understanding and they have nothing to do with faith in God.

There were lots of stories which made me realise that no yugas were 100% pure like the way we had imagined about the previous yugas.

But every setback is a blessing and lesson was learnt there. It was much needed so that we don’t fail later in life when there will be no way back to start again.

Using counter for naamjap is a tool of performance not an act of surrender, you need to lose the track of time, count and everything around you when you repeat sacred names. Flow state is the key you get it through repeating name, meditation service or through work.. different approaches, same state.. doesn’t even matter what religion you follow, doesn’t even matter you believe in god or not.. you need to get in the flow state everyday by doing whatever you like to do the most. As simple as that..
