Breaking: New NBC Report details widespread abuse of Christians by Israeli Jews in Jerusalem.
"Attacks are on the rise and frequent."
"The government is turning a blind eye."
The main source of the decisive decline of the West is the Calvinism. The Anglican and Lutheran Churches as well as mystical tendency from Bohme to Quakers and anabaptists were somehow in the realm of Christianity (more or less). The real horror starts with Calvin.
So, Bishop Barron told Shapiro that Pope Leo’s timely antiwar comments are not about the Iran war, per se
It’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out
When a Catholic prelate waffles on Catholic teaching and throws fellow Catholics under the bus for their defense of the Catholic faith in the face of heresy and schmoozes with powerful yet horrible world leaders and their heretic sidekicks, I’m gonna go with principles over personalities and side with the purity of Catholic teaching and its passionate advocates
No matter how famous and media savvy said prelate is
Our Shepards like @BishopBarron should publicly tell people like Ben Shapiro to be baptized rather than "follow your conscience".
Telling people all they need to do is follow their conscience, rather than calling them to Baptism, spells destruction for Western Civilization.
‘A MORTAL THREAT’: BISHOP BARRON WARNS ON DECLINE OF FAITH
@BishopBarron warned that declining belief in God and falling church attendance pose a serious threat to Western civilization and its cultural foundations.
My statement re Prohibiting the Latin Patriarch of entering Church of Holy Sepulcher on Palm Sunday:
While all Holy sites in the Old City are closed due to safety concerns for mass gatherings including the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulcher and Al Aqsa Mosque, the action today by the Israel Nat'l Police to deny Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa and 3 other priests from entering the Church to offer a blessing on Palm Sunday is an unfortunate overreach already having major repercussions around the world. Home Front Command Guidelines restrict any gatherings to 50 people or less. The 4 representatives of the Catholic Church were well below that restriction. Statements from the Gov't of Israel indicate the action to prohibit Cardinal Pizzaballa entry to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher were for safety reasons, but churches, synagogues, and mosques throughout Jerusalem have met with the restrictions of 50 or less. For the Patriarch to be barred from entry to the Church on Palm Sunday for a private ceremony is difficult to understand or justify. Israel has indicated it will work with the Patriarch to accommodate a safe means of carrying out Holy Week activities.
Cardinal Pizzaballa was turned back because the Jews are at war with the Catholic Church.
This violation of his rights as cardinal archbishop has nothing to do with "security concerns."
If the Israelis were really concerned about their security, they would stop attacking Iran.
JUST IN: Israeli Police prevented Cardinal Pizzaballa from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre today, as he went to say Mass.
@LPJerusalem calls it a “grave precedent” which “constitutes a manifestly unreasonable and grossly disproportionate measure.”

Joint Press Release
The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custody of the Holy Land
Holy City of Jerusalem
Palm Sunday, 29 March 2026
This morning, the Israeli Police prevented the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, together with the Custos of the Holy Land, the Most Reverend Fr. Francesco Ielpo, OFM, the official Guardian of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, as they made their way to celebrate the Palm Sunday Mass.
The two were stopped en route, while proceeding privately and without any characteristics of a procession or ceremonial act, and were compelled to turn back. As a result, and for the first time in centuries, the Heads of the Church were prevented from celebrating the Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
This incident is a grave precedent, and disregard the sensibilities of billions of people around the world who, during this week, look to Jerusalem.
The Heads of the Churches have acted with full responsibility and, since the outset of the war, have complied with all imposed restrictions: public gatherings were cancelled, attendance was prohibited, and arrangements were made to broadcast the celebrations to hundreds of millions of faithful worldwide, who, during these days of Easter, turn their eyes to Jerusalem and to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Preventing the entry of the Cardinal and the Custos, who bear the highest ecclesiastical responsibility for the Catholic Church and the Holy Places, constitutes a manifestly unreasonable and grossly disproportionate measure.
This hasty and fundamentally flawed decision, tainted by improper considerations, represents an extreme departure from basic principles of reasonableness, freedom of worship, and respect for the Status Quo.
The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custody of the Holy Land express their profound sorrow to the Christian faithful in the Holy Land and throughout the world that prayer on one of the most sacred days of the Christian calendar has thus been prevented.
Israeli police prevented the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to celebrate Palm Sunday Mass.
This is the first time in centuries that the heads of the Church were barred from celebrating Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Your Eminence,
I’ve tried calling you and texting you multiple times since the February 9th hearing on antisemitism which you and Bishop Barron were absent from. I wished to discuss this with you privately. But again, unfortunately, you’ve provided zero response to me.
However, today, you publicly made the post which I am replying to now.
You have publicly stated that you agree with Bishop Barron’s recently issued statements wholeheartedly.
Please answer this question: Why did you say to me in person on September 8th 2025, at 8:26 in the morning, “if they are going to remove you for your support of the Palestinians in Gaza, then they will try to remove me too”?
I explained to you at this meeting, that I was being asked to resign from the commission by the White House at the behest of our colleague’s Paula White and Dan Patrick. You expressed that you were shocked I was asked to resign in August because of my Catholic position on Zionism, and outspoken support of innocent human life in Gaza. You fully supported me as indicated by your words.
I had expressed to both you and Bishop Barron months before the February hearing that I was asked to be removed from this commission due to my Catholic beliefs and my support of the Palestinians in Gaza. Both of you said that would never happen. But it did.
Can you please explain to me and to all Catholics the meaning of this apparent contradiction?
If there is no contradiction between what you said to me in August and why I’m presently removed, then please explain.
I believe I was removed from the religious liberty commission in February for the same reasons I was asked to resign in August.
🚨 BREAKING The Palm Sunday procession in Jerusalem, commemorating the triumphal entry of Christ, has been canceled, according to Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa.
The very streets where Jesus Christ was welcomed with “Hosanna” will not be walked by Christians this year.
For centuries, Christians have kept this witness alive in Jerusalem through war, persecution, and empire.
Now, during Holy Week, it has been stopped by the Israeli regime.
Christians are being prevented from publicly witnessing to the Passion of Jesus Christ in the very city where He suffered, died, and rose again.
This should alarm the entire Christian world.
Israel is not our ally.
Kyrie eleison.
According to Lumen Gentium:
"Although the individual bishops do not enjoy the prerogative of infallibility, they nevertheless proclaim Christ's doctrine infallibly whenever, even though dispersed through the world, but still maintaining the bond of communion among themselves and with the successor of Peter, and authentically teaching matters of faith and morals, they are in agreement on one position as definitively to be held."(40*)
Can Bishop Barron please explain how his claim that "Israel has a right to exist" fits within that definition of episcopal authority?
Are the bishops and the successor of St. Peter united in claiming always and everywhere that "Israel has the right to exist"? Where can this claim be found in any magisterial document?
Can he please define anti-Semitism? Is it a sin to criticize Jews? Does Gaza have "the right to exist"? If that is the case, why were the bishops silent during the Israeli genocidal attack on all Palestinians living there?
