I can't remember a single time I have ever thought to myself: "wow this Netflix app really sucks" cause it's basically transparent and just does what it says on the tin. The only reason anyone even puts up with HBO is because of the back catalog.

Truly impressive how @HBO is on the 4th gen of its streaming app and has yet to ship a product that isn't torturous to use. Ten years ago, we had the HBO Go / Now buffering during GoT & then the HBO Max UX nightmare and now Max follows suit with the worst player controls possible
