@Bulvarpress I'm Nepali and we aren't like that. Neither one takes bath on the middle of the bridge nor another takes ride through that small hanging bridge despite a bigger one near there. It's all scripted for views. 100%
@DamonZumbroegel Also, depending on season, there may be more than one curry. That is, fried vegetables or meat. Curd, milk, ghee, egg, meat according to family culture. Twice a day. And anything other than rice and vegetable around 1/2 pm as a snack. No breakfast n' lunch.
@DamonZumbroegel That's because you are a guest. Otherwise, generally, rice (or roti) and any curry. Curry means water added to any vegetable or meat to make gravy. Salad and pickles are optional, not necessary. Dairy may be necessary, depending on family culture.
@SamaHoole There was no white rice in the world 200 years ago, and in Asia, 100 years ago. It's just been 50 years since Asians eating white rice on a large scale. Before that, only the wealthy could eat white rice. 100 years ago, there was no white rice.
@roxk_the4053 There is already a term called "Himwatkhanda" where all these Himalayan and hilly regions lie, from Jammu-Kashmir to Arunachal including Tibet. This region can't be called as "South-Asia".
@nntaleb Not quite right. India was colonized by many countries/Muslims for more than 2000 years, yet Indians are hardcore supporters of Israel, except mostly Muslims. More than 1 billion people.
@SamaHoole If you want to find out more about consequences of vegetarian diet, focus on western- and Northern-Indian states like: Rajasthan74.9%, Haryana 69.25%,
Punjab 66.75%, Gujarat 60.95%, Madhya Pradesh 50.6%, Uttar Pradesh 47.1%, Maharashtra 40.2%
@SamaHoole One serious question for you: what is the absolute absorption rate of nutrients' bioavailability of plant-based diets after being cooked, fermented, roasted, etc.? Most people are omnivorous, and meat isn't affordable for everybody, and they seem "fine!"

@SamaHoole What about Bengal region (West Bengal of India, Bangladesh, even Assam) where 99% are non-vegetarian, eat fish almost 4 days a week, also other meats like chicken, mutton etc. Most are Muslims, so eat beef, buff etc. Yet, 85, like Japanese.
@SamaHoole I think you relied on ChatGPT. India is extremely diversified subcontinent. You can generalize all Indians' diet. Mustard oil is heavily used in North India. Rich in biodiversity, they eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Diabetes due to modern lifestyle.
@nntaleb One dangerous thing I realized is that AI is becoming a "spiritual guru", "therapist", "counsellor" etc and dictating people's life and decision making even in psychological aspects. Not to mention in politics, society etc.
@AlpacaAurelius Complete bullshit. We Nepalis don't have such thing as breakfast, lunch or dinner. Never. We eat grains (rice/bread) and vegetables twice a day, daily, generally around 9 AM and 7PM. And we eat anything except rice as snacks around 2 PM but not daily.
