#ForesterFire If you live in the community of La Cresta, be aware of increased law enforcement and firefighting activity. A brush fire is burning near La Cresta Road and Old Bend Road.

An EVACUATION WARNING is in place for the shaded area in yellow shown in the map below. Be prepared to evacuate should conditions change.

The US Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife have made the decision to remove the Sea Turtle eggs from the beach and manually incubate them. They hope to return the turtles to the beach area and release them close to where they hatched.

The eggs will be monitored and kept at the Aquarium of the Pacific for the time being

The NB I-5 on ramp from Mission Bay Drive and the NB off ramp to Grand Ave/Garnet Ave will be closed on Saturday 9/26 from 3am to 10am for landscaping operations. Use Clairemont Drive to enter the freeway from Pacific Beach and use Balboa Ave to exit the freeway to Pacific Beach.
