@JeremiahDJohns Responses to deaf culture are spot on.
Nobody would have an issue with curing blindness. Most blind kids go to public school, sit in normal classes, and socialize with their classmates. There is no culture, but merely a large inconvenience to be lost.
Must read: Absolutely devastating piece in @guardian detailing some of the torture inflicted on Palestinian health workers by Israel:
- Abductions from the operating room
- Being stripped and kept in the cold
- Beatings to the point of being unable to walk
- Teeth being broken
- Rapes
- Murders
- Starvation
- Sleep derivation
- Being blindfolded and restrained for >100 days

@Outlaws Imagine getting a whole MBA in marketing and thinking this was a good PR statement for your brand. If you can't offer anything of value other than a pity party for yourself, just silently weather the storm.
George McDonald cutting turf for burning in his home fire. He's been doing this since the mid 1970s using a special spade that is at least 100 years old.
Once dry, the peat bricks will be burnt to keep the home warm.
