I love reading When women were dragons by Kelly Barnhill in my hammock and drinking iced tea. Lots to do later, not all of it fun, so enjoying my moment.
Susie Boyt's Loved and Missed is the best novel I've read this year. The voices of her characters, particularly Ruth, who narrates most of the book, are unforgettable. Don't miss this one. I'm grateful that NYRB pubbed it and definitely hope they'll publish more of her work.
