@NilesGApol There’s a difference between a corporation and the government telling you what to do (yes before you say I know GA Power is tied in but it’s still different)
Also, this messaging appears to be tailored more towards helping you save, rather than damning the electrical grid
@SkylarSkye3 We do have famous stadiums (Lambeau Field, Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, Churchill Downs, Madison Square Garden and many more)
But stadiums like this are brand new and don’t have the fame and nostalgia behind them…yet.
@whoabr201@GAPomegrante She literally has no idea what being a justice is. Her and Thomas are both clueless and vote consistently on feelings and not precedent. She’s one of the worst justices ever.
@DebunkerMimi@ZachNagel7 There’s also a very neat folklore story about how the name came to be. It’s really unknown which is true, but with the incorporation of the town being when the county was created, the first option seems more logical to me
@DebunkerMimi@ZachNagel7 Alpharetta roughly translates to “First Town” in Greek. The city was established following the creation of Milton County (which went bankrupt and had to merge with Fulton County during the Great Depression) in 1858
@bd1939_@DumpTrump_45 Way too soon to even possibly know that. In 2017/2018, it looked like it might be D+8-10 in 2020. By the beginning of 2020, it looked like Trump was on track to win reelection. It’s just way too early to know any of that.
@GLCampos_@VoteHub Well, that’s because Alito probably is retiring so Trump can replace him before the midterms. Thomas though will probably die in his Supreme Court seat like RBG did
@BozoVinny@HereForBlank Because Kemp is a solid governor, and Herschel Walker was a disaster. I think you forget just how conservative the Atlanta Suburbs used to be. Many are still conservative, they’re just not MAGA and the more MAGA takes over the Republican Party, the more democratic they will vote
@luminousvoid97@EnochJamesGa@NilesGApol My point is, why are you trying to make this argument? It’s the same argument that the right uses. Regardless of whether you’re lifelong or only been here a few years, if you live, work, and vote in this state you’re a Georgian. There’s plenty of other things to nab Dolezal on.
@EnochJamesGa@NilesGApol lol that’s a stupid game to play. Greg Dolezal was living in Georgia in the 2000’s when Josh McLaurin was studying it up in Connecticut at Yale
