Wow, both ActionSA and the DA are basically being handed a golden card here. The people clearly don't want anything to do with the ANC and this is probably as low as the ANC will ever go i.e. they are bound to pull up their socks from here.... You have this one chance now to get over yourselves and your giant political egos and make something work. Show the country you're actually serious about working for the people and you will go down in history as making things right. Or keep pandering to your egos and cock things up completely....
Imagine all the people.... living life with water, power, jobs, food, and just enjoying their time with families and friends. SA has bled for so long and identity politics doesn't work... now it's time to cut the bullshit crap, cut corruption, and focus on actual work for all of the people, all of the time. I don't even live in JHB or vote for the DA, but I know that her people deserve a better life.
@Bomepome_Novel@HermanMashaba Yes, many left the ANC to vote for the DA as well. So if the DA and ActionSA had any sense, they would see that the people want anything as long as it's not some coalition with the corrupt ANC. Whoever gets into bed with the ANC now is going to lose votes in the next few years.
Yes, most of what you said is what he was elected to do.... BUT, he was also elected to "end the forever wars" but what did he do instead ---> be the gimp for Netanyahu and invade Iran! Which led to high energy costs and knock-on inflationary effects. That was what undid him. Would have been far better to do an undercover operation instead e.g. like blowing up the Nordstream pipeline with at least some level of plausible deniability in place....
@Telegraph That's awesome... Bob Dylan trolling the pope was not on my bingo card for 2026 but I'm loving it. Every pope inherits the truth of what happened to Jesus and every single one always shuts up and preserves the status-quo and their power base. It's sickening.
@joereform@BuenoForMiami Question for you @joereform ... since the universe is currently expanding, where does all that space and extra gravity etc come from?
@BuenoForMiami You're in good company with Pythagoras and the druids... essentially the hermetic stream of the western mystery traditions that the Catholic Church has so far failed to exterminate....
I would just advise to be cautious about applying a desert-based law from an ancient religion to your life. Rather look into Celtic Christian and pre-Christian beliefs from more verdant societies (e.g. Britain) where women were also more honored and respected. Also look to Christ and not to the ancient religion that he was not exactly in favor with.
No, unfortunately you're missing the obvious.... many previous Republicans (even MAGA) voted blue as protest against Trump's war, living costs, and relationship with Israel. Many said as much in interviews leading up to the vote. Sometimes the simplest answer is the right one. See Occam's Razor.
I appreciate that's what the church leaders wrote into their version of the story. If you're really interested in finding out the truth then study Constantine and Eusebius's arguments going into the Council of Niceae. Study what the Gnostics and other "heretics" (who were often closer to Jesus such as Mary Magdalene) believed. Study Masonic ritual and why the secret of a genuine mason is found at the centre of the circle. Study how the grail legends differ and why Wolfram's version is most accurate. And finally, study the Royal Family's involvement with Freemasonry and trying to recover the burial location in Scotland, right up until 1849 when the bones were discovered in the Camelon Urn, and what they've done since. Study why the Jewish rulers (who also know the truth) have this hold over the royal family, because once this secret gets out, it's over for them and for "Dieu et mon droit".....
@Subaduuba@grok@RabbiJeffx Must be an American thing, to generalize like that... For crying out loud, don't paint all South Africans according to your view of Musk.
@FrejaLund73@JohnCleese No, you're choosing to confuse Christ's teachings with the church that arose in his name a couple of hundred years later, after wiping out Christ's closest allies such as Mary Magdalene and his gnostic and Celtic Christian followers.
Christ faced the cauldron and the Otherworld and underwent his NDE to see the light with the druids in Wales. He was then buried on Bardsey Island (Avalon) which story was later appropriated by Henri de Blois and the Knights Templar to interweave the grail legends with the Arthurian legends.
His bones were later calcined and reburied in Falkirk to emerge later with the discovery of the Camelon Urn.... long story, which is why the unicorn is chained on the Scottish arms....
But ultimately you're right - his teaching was all about love and that sin (to the extent it even exists as per the Gospel of Mary) is to confuse the body (and power etc.) with the soul, which is only concerned with love....
@AmoNtombi Loving the passion but a little concerned about the mixing of styles there... seems like mostly mixed martial arts and just swinging for the fences...
@joelpollak Not true - they both have the letters "Democrat" in their name. They both are keen on adopting WEF values and they both would like to see the LBGTQ2+ etc. acronym at least double in length...
@b3l_Air Not sure I follow your logic.... so your suggestion is to vote ANC and to perpetuate the madness? You know a popular definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and yet expect different results?
Amidst all the noise of political change, remember these key trends are all still in place...
- Everywhere is aging except Africa
- Energy demand is still growing, despite what will clearly now be a handbrake on AI and data-centres
- Cost of living will always outstrip earnings, resulting eventually in an unaffordability collapse of (mostly urban) society
- US debt is still growing and will collapse markets at some point, most likely before 2032
