Nation-building doesn’t begin in parliament, or universities. It begins in the womb, continues through infancy & is strengthened during the first years of life. Investments in infant health are not just health interventions, but investments in human capital & economic prosperity.
On this Children’s day, we are reminded of our vision and why we show up- to ensure the health, wellbeing, development and survival of infants & children. We are saddened by the security situation and call on the government of Nigeria to intervene & ensure the safety of children.
Good nutrition in early childhood is not just about feeding a child for today, it’s an investment in their future.
Proper nutrition in the early years lays the foundation for healthy brain development, strong immunity, physical growth, learning ability, and emotional well-being.
If babies could talk, what do you think they’d say? “Talk to me more, I’m learning your words.” “Play with me, I’m building my brain.” The truth is, Early childhood development isn’t complex, it’s in the everyday moments: Talking. Playing. Listening. Responsive, Loving care♥️
It’s African Vaccination Week🌟Vaccinations are one of the most powerful tools we have to protect children during their early years. From measles to polio, each vaccine shields your child from life-threatening illnesses. Let’s protect our little STARS💚

Introducing allergenic foods like peanuts, eggs, and dairy to infants between 4-11 months can help prevent allergies. Delaying introduction may increase allergy risk. Early exposure can build tolerance and potentially avoid lifelong allergies.
Join us at the F.O.N.D event on April 25, 2025, as we commemorate World Health Day! It will be an amazing time where we get to train parents, caregivers and early childhood development enthusiast on the four domains of early childhood development.

Did you know?
Parents play a pivotal role in early childhood development by creating a nurturing environment that fosters their child's cognitive, social and emotional growth.
It is possible to overfeed a baby, though it's important to recognize that babies have natural hunger cues, and most will stop eating when they are full.
Overfeeding generally occurs when a baby is encouraged or pressured to eat more than they need,
When you have a toddler, silence doesn't always mean peace - it usually means trouble is brewing! 😂
Toddlers are naturally curious and full of energy. So if they suddenly go quiet, it could mean they're up to something mischievous.
Feeding your child with the right food, in the right way and at the right time goes beyond just filling their stomachs - it shapes their health, learning, and success in life. Every nutritious meal helps build a stronger, brighter future for your child.
Happy International Women's Day! Let's empower the next generation to create a more equal world by valuing uniqueness in every child and raising leaders who respect, support, and celebrate each other's differences.
Today we celebrate all phenomenal women all over the world.

Free playtime plays a crucial role in a child's overall development - especially in early childhood. Unlike structured activities, free play allows children to explore, imagine and interact with their environment without rules or guidance.
