The New Testament teaches the rejection of ethnic Israel as God’s chosen people due to their rejection of Jesus. The kingdom of God has been taken away from them and given to the Church (believers in Christ), which includes Jews and Gentiles as the “true Jews” or “seed of Abraham.”

• Matthew 21:33–44 (Parable of the Vineyard): Israel as tenants who kill the son (Jesus); the kingdom is taken from them and given to others who produce fruit (the Church).
• Matthew 8:10–13: Gentiles (like the centurion) enter the kingdom, while “subjects of the kingdom” (Jews rejecting Jesus) are cast into darkness.
• Matthew 23:32–39 & Matthew 24: Judgment on Jerusalem for killing prophets and rejecting Jesus; the temple’s destruction (70 AD) as a sign God is “done” with them.
• Romans 2:26–29: A true Jew is one inwardly, with circumcision of the heart by the Spirit (i.e., faith in Christ), not physical descent.
• Galatians 3:15–29: Abraham’s “seed” is Christ; believers (Jews and Gentiles) baptized into Christ become Abraham’s heirs.
• Galatians 4:21–31 (Allegory of Hagar and Sarah): Earthly Jerusalem = Hagar (bondage, Ishmael’s descendants); Heavenly Jerusalem = Sarah (freedom, true promise through Isaac/Christ). Jews rejecting Jesus are spiritually “Ishmaelites,” not Sarah’s children.
• Revelation 2:8–9 & 3:7–9: Jesus calls some claiming to be Jews “liars” and part of the “synagogue of Satan”; they’ll bow before the Church, acknowledging God’s love for it.
• Ties into John 8:44 (Jews rejecting Jesus have the devil as father) and 1 John 3:12 (Cain as Satan’s son, linking to “brood of vipers” in Matthew 23).

Soon, the House will vote on an amendment to block taxpayer funding to Israel’s military.

I will vote yes.

The Israeli government committed war crimes in Gaza and helped drag America into war with Iran. Americans should not be financing more weapons for Netanyahu.

I am aware that the amendment as written may cut off both military weapons (~$3.3 billion) and some diplomatic funding (~$50 million). While I would prefer to vote on an amendment that stripped just military funding, I think opposing the billions in military funding is what’s most important here.

Denver City Council blocked Denver International Airport from leasing space to Key Lime Air, because the airline worked with ICE.

There was just one problem…

It violates FAA rules.

So what did they do?

City attorney Miko Brown allegedly urged the airport to fabricate an investigation into the airline’s safety record to cover up for illegally discriminating against the airline for political reasons.

When word got out, Brown and Mayor Mike Johnston flat out denied it.

However CBS just obtained an internal airport memo appearing to reveal the entire thing was true.
