2022 just letting myself go โshit I likeโ mode with prompts for days on end, abusing image blend and proper nouns to see if I could get somewhere unfamiliar from there. I kind of stayed stuck on this autumnal alien pastoral thing
gonna actually commit to Old Models October (In the spirit of Opposite October, typically I don't post at all)
With MJv3 I experimented a ton w/ how it simulated aspects of different print eras, producing these pseudo-print artifacts that became their own thing.
personal graphic design lore that makes no sense w/ me being me: I had a small hand in the ky*ie m*ta glasses stuff and someone behind the .gov rebrand was responsible for most of my employment over the first half of the decade
can anyone pill me on not being paranoid about NFTs as onramp to some kind of global control mechanism or tell me Iโm retarded about the whole thing ? itโs holding me back from doin stuff that looks at least fun. Iโm not done mourning(?) the death(?) of (somethin) or somethin
I know art has always been tangled up with collecting etc. so maybe the distinction Iโm making is fake but something about making collectibility the thing the creation of the image is organized around freaks me out. wish I could just be normal but I go total paranoid unc about it
increasingly bored by the purely digital image just sitting there as an image. I want it attached to some larger thing like a book, game, whatever. NFTs obviously do that. Iโm also not really trying to make work mainly to be in conversation with art history
