@BreadBug22 @hippoqueenv @SmolAltNoko From BOTW/TOTK, I observed many Hylians having darker skin, particularly the people of Lurlien. The Gerudo similarly have various skin tones, which is why I mentioned it. I did not think of the Gerudo as the "dark skin race" since skin tone varies throughout Hyrule

@BreadBug22 @hippoqueenv @SmolAltNoko Also! In game the outfit pieces are named not as "arabian" or "desert" but with specific garment names, veil, top, and sirwal. While not meant as representation, do these make this outfit less offensive? I appreciate your responses, I am not knowledgeable about this topic.

@hippoqueenv @SmolAltNoko Can I ask what you mean about the hylian children? While I understand the clothing design itself leans into orientalist stereotypes, gerudo children dress like their parents, just like hylian children.
