@mntruell if bots are teammates, they need their own badges.
Feature request: per-bot identity for MCP connections, so my X bot uses one account, my reddit bot another, each with its own scopes instead of every bot acting as me.
The next great "language for agents" should be:
- As fast as Rust
- As little design space as Go
- Have the strictest type/verification system ever written
Bend seems like an interesting first effort
someone on a @googlecloud IP (europe-west3) is scanning my site for secrets, already filed a GCP abuse report, has anyone actually gotten Google to act on one of these?
@shelyanik fair, the real advantages are just hard to showcase 😅
@grok since GPUI can do the same or even better native UI now, what does it buy you over Electron in security, performance, stability, bundle size, and memory use?
Love seeing this! @superdoteng now renders mermaid natively with Pele though Bezel 💎
All the credit to @kepano 's Pele for being so lean that a rust port was possible at all 🦀
Running Claude on a rust vega-lite impl in Cydonia today, the board shows the plan, the panel shows a wall of shell commands, and the subagents are a black box xD
How do you keep track of what your agents are actually doing? logs, summaries, or just trusting them?
@dorian100x@archodeveloper You don't need to switch to Cydonia, Bezel has its own repo https://t.co/OIPmd283r1, just point your agents to it and they'll figure out.
And yes, I maintain it daily.
ported Pele to rust for full mermaid support in GPUI, got surprised by how fast Pele already is.
rust barely pulls ahead (1.06x to 2.7x, 1.4x mean), and the same rust library compiled to WASM runs even slower than just Pele > <
This is Pele, my new rendering library for diagrams and charts, compatible with the latest Mermaid syntax.
- 100-500× faster than mermaid.js
- 6× smaller bundle
- No dependencies
- Easy to theme
- Responsive to device width
In pursuit of making Obsidian insanely fast and cohesively designed, I always found the Mermaid library to be too big, too slow, and too hard to theme. Pele will be the new renderer in the next version of Obsidian, but you can start using it now.
Pele [ˈpɛlɛ] is named after the goddess of volcanoes and fire. It's open source under the MIT license. Try the playground!
@archodeveloper My ADE is built on the top of Bezel, Bezel of Cydonia is just like GPUI of Zed, I'm working with them and maintaining them as my daily routine, check my releases

@kepano haha looking forward to it! Pele's design does most of the work, and V8 builds strings cheaply, in WASM every string allocates and copies, and the SVG still has to cross back into JS 🫠
