Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy
My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false.
We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified.
The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project.
The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion.
It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind.
If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO

Not all success is due to hardwork. Not all poverty is due to laziness.
As life patterns, you need to realize that some people had leverages - as family or location.
Others also have disadvantages - as family or location.
As you judge others, including yourself - be kind.
I don't think anything else has humbled me, this much in my adulthood:
Even though it isn't an excuse for complacency but hardwork doesn't guarantee success.
You can do everything right - clap for others, wait your turn, show up everyday & still not make it.
It is humbling.
BREAKING: JUDGE ORDERS SEIZURE OF TEACHER ENOCH BURKE’S €40,000 BANK BALANCE AND WALKS OUT AS ENOCH BURKE SEEKS TO MAKE SUBMISSIONS
Enoch Burke’s bank account containing €40,000 has today been seized by the Courts. This follows the seizure by the Courts of his teaching salary last week. The Court also directed that the Attorney General may apply to seize any other assets owned by Enoch Burke.
Senior Counsel Brian Kennedy SC for the Attorney General was granted as much time as he wished to make his submissions in Court on this unprecedented matter and was not questioned in any way by the bench. By contrast, when Enoch Burke rose to speak, he was cut off after only 5 minutes by Mr Justice David Nolan, who repeatedly interrupted him. The Judge then delivered his pre-prepared ruling immediately.
Enoch Burke sought to draw attention to the fact that the root cause of this case, the principal's direction to all staff to address a male student by a new name and the "they" pronoun, has never been assessed for its constitutionality or lawfulness by any Court, despite these proceedings being now ongoing for more than 2.5 years. When Enoch Burke read out Article 44 of the Irish Constitution, which binds the State to "respect and honour religion", he was immediately shut down by Judge David Nolan.
Enoch Burke's brief written submissions, which he was prevented from bringing or reading out in Court by Mr Justice David Nolan, are also attached below.

This is the allegation they always lay on someone whenever they want to assassinate the person.
I want them to prove this allegation by showing us a post or video where I insulted their prophet!
BREAKING: The @PoliceNG have filed fresh charges at the Federal High Court in Ado-Ekito in a brazen attempt to prolong @DeleFarotimi’s illegal detention; this is an escalation of Chief Afe Babalola's abuse of judicial processes using tbe@policeng and the Nigerian judiciary.
This MUST be resisted.

London- Kings’ College Campus
Let's make it happen
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
#FreeDeleFarotimi Everywhere is too comfortable for the oppressors in Nigeria. Could we start a NATIONWIDE/GLOBAL revolt against the Nigerian judiciary over @DeleFarotimi’s unjust abduction and detention ASAP, Please? Who is on board?
Dele Farotimi wrote a book Called “Nigeria and Its Criminal Justice System” and the brazen impunity which the book seeks to address is playing right before our eyes.
How does one describe this insanity?
Using the Police to abduct a person from one state to another state, the intimidation and harassment of his staff, seizure of their phones…
How many crimes have been committed here while trying to investigate whether Mr Farotimi actually committed a crime?
For how long will the Nigerian Police continue to allow themselves be used by the “High and Mighty” to oppress Nigerians?
This is what happens when we support that civil matters be treated as criminal matters because of political differences or stanship.
We have opened the season to the rich and influential who can have a Nigerian arrested by the police because the person said that the big man’s fart stinks.
Even people who should know better now abuse power because there are zero consequences for these actions.
Our system of corruption allows the innocent man who hasn’t been proven guilty of committing any crime suffer while the guilty who commits numerous crimes trying to prove that the innocent man committed a crime roams freely.
TUEH!
The bloody cowards that laugh at Dele’s arrest should be ashamed. The slaves will never understand liberty, they will never be free. Their minds are incarcerated in the prison of Azkaban and are constantly tormented by the dementors. They are not worth more than faecal matter from a regurgitating toilet. We are born free and we will constantly demand Justice and fairness, they were born free but sentiments chains their reasoning!
I just spoke with Kunle Akinwale, the Commissioner of @PoliceNG Ekiti State Command. He admits that they arrested @DeleFarotimi and that he's being driven from Lagos to Ekiti by road.
I told him categorically that this constituted an abuse of @PoliceNG's powers and that this was a civil case that ought not to have warranted police intervention.
When he admitted to me that they were driving him from Lagos, I asked him repeatedly, “ Did he kill someone?”
He even said he was still under investigation for “cybercrime.” this illegal arrest was staged by one of Nigeria’s most senior lawyers, Afe Babalola SAN
This is just despicable.
