This is a common exercise in which AI boosters pretend that it’s ok to give AI the same rights and privileges as human beings even though AI is just a corporate software tool for making money and the corporations do not have these rights.

It is a tool that a corporate owner is using to arbitrage fair use doctrine to scrape protected IP at scale and market it to consumers (charging for “tokens” instead of the IP directly).
