If you were born in the trenches or grew up in a family where nobody taught you about investing, assets, pensions, or building wealth, like many of us , please don't use that as an excuse to remain financially stuck.
Find one person who has built the kind of life you admire and study them.
Listen to their interviews, Read their books, Learn how they think about money. They don't have to be stupendously rich either, Personally I believe its important to determine what success looks like to you and work accordingly. You will adjust as you grow through life, whether to increase or decrease
For me, one book that changed my mindset early on was The Richest Man in Babylon. I still revisit it years later.
One good book can save you ten years of expensive mistakes.
Start today. Your children should inherit wisdom, not just your struggles. I am so grateful that I can discuss wealth building and finances with my Children, I buy them courses and we sometimes watch and study together. They are never too young to be introduced especially once they become teenagers
May our efforts be blessed, I sincerely hate and fear poverty, It demean and cheat us of opportunities, We must fight it with efforts and God's help
MOST PEOPLE INVEST IN THE WRONG ORDER
• Track every naira in and out for 30 days.
• Give every naira a job before the month starts.
• Kill your highest interest debt first. Not the smallest. The most expensive.
• Save 1 to 3 months of expenses somewhere you will not touch.
Investing while drowning in debt is how people stay stuck for years.
THEN YOU START BUYING ASSETS
• Money market funds or treasury bills first. Safe, and beating inflation.
• Then index or mutual funds. Automate it. Even ₦10,000 monthly.
• Then real assets you actually understand.
• Then a skill that raises your income, because that is the highest return you will ever get.
Never invest money you need within 5 years. Never buy what you cannot explain.
And when your income rises, raise the percentage you invest, not your lifestyle.
Here’s a practical way to tailor a resume for every application:
1. Read the job description carefully
Highlight: Required skills, Responsibilities, Industry-specific terms
You’re meant to get experience through projects.
Personal projects, volunteer projects, there are platforms you can also use to build experience, they need to know you can do the work, that you’ve practiced.
No one will hold your hand or walk you through anything, the job market is changing, only few companies might do that.
Your NYSC counts as experience too btw.
Local government workers are the worst, they come by 11, then they would start eating breakfast and by 2 pm, they're heading back home again. Part of the system Peter Obi government must confront is this, there should be work for the money and not receiving free money. Most Secondary school teachers in Villages go to school by 11am.
So I attended a tech event anonymously here in Lagos yesterday. The room was full of big startup founders, CEOs and SaaS builders I've always wanted to work with. Many of these guys are not that active on social media. I saw some of my Twitter noisemakers there😂. I was just there silently observing everything (I was anon). These people get money ehn. I was very shy to approach them to be honest. Towards the end of the event, I was pressed, so I went to the rest room where I met one young baddie, she works as a brand strategist for one of the companies I pitched to earlier this year. I quickly engaged her, we exchanged contact. Mission successful.
My girls are earning well, and I feel fulfilled.
One I just spoke to today, is earning 1.85 million naira monthly.
This is why I started CyberGirls Fellowship; to make young women such outstanding talents that it changes their socioeconomic status!
No truer has been said. Relatable for all of us born in the trenches, whether north or south.
To defeat Poverty you cannot afford to be mediocre, I will only add that as you work hard, Pray harder that your efforts shall be fruitful and not be wasted .
May the Lord safeguard us from Lack and poverty 🤲🤲🤲
Tell Grok AI to audit your page to check if you have been going against X rules. You can specify the months you want to audit.
Thank me later.
I want you to act as an X (Twitter) Content Policy and Trust & Safety reviewer.
Analyze my X profile @ from my most recent posts to my oldest available posts. Compare every post against X's current rules, policies, and enforcement guidelines.
Your task is to identify any content that could put my account at risk, even if I did not intentionally violate the rules.
For every flagged post, provide:
1. The date or link to the post.
2. The exact part of the post that may be problematic.
3. Which X rule or policy it may violate.
4. The risk level (Low, Medium, or High).
5. Whether the post should be left as is, edited, or deleted.
6. A safer version that keeps the original message but complies with X's policies.
Also check for patterns across my account, including:
- Spam-like behavior or repetitive posting.
- Aggressive engagement farming.
- Misleading or deceptive claims.
- Copyright issues.
- Harassment or abusive language.
- Hate speech or discriminatory content.
- Violent or graphic content.
- Adult or sensitive content.
- Misinformation or manipulated media.
- Platform manipulation or artificial engagement.
- Any other behavior that could reduce my account's reach or lead to warnings or suspension.
Finally, give me:
- An overall account risk score from 1 to 10.
- The top five issues that need immediate attention.
- A prioritized action plan to make my account fully compliant and reduce the chances of suspension or limited reach.
- Any recommendations for improving the long-term health and safety of my X account while maintaining strong engagement.
You’ve been searching for roles the wrong way. Companies don’t post under one specific job title, they post by function, not by the title you’re used to.
I put together every title companies are hiring for across 15 industries (Data, Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, Legal, Tech, and more), tagged by level so you know exactly where you sit. Plus the fake titles to watch out for before you accept one.
Use these titles for your next job search.

One part of business founders/CEOs need to pay close attention to is the customer experience. Monitor the customer surveys, feedback, and reviews closely. Stay close enough to hear what they are saying.
Because sometimes, as a CEO, you only see what employees want you to see. It becomes a curated version of reality, designed to make the business look good.
Meanwhile, you’re making money but the business has the potential to do so much more if just one customer touchpoint is fixed.
The money in your pocket comes from customers. They are the reason your business even exists. Treat them like kings.
Insha Allah , I and others will not relent on this financial independence campaign especially for my Fellow Muslim Sister.
Get ready to insult me till the end of time. I have deliberately prayed for strength and wherewithal For Allah swt to sustain us with everything we will need and beyond.
To everyone/Brothers doing below, Fear Allah! Fear Allah and your last days. Death is inevitable for us all.
