why? VR had it's time, like 90% sold or stashed their VR equipment for years now..
Just like 3D TVs, the technology is nice, but veeery niche and doesn't see much development. Sony and Meta tried pushing it time and time again, but it never had a real breakthrough.
Physical media on the other hand has been the standard since inception of consoles and in the last years became the USP of Sony. Sony now cancelling their biggest USP makes people rightfully upset, it's not comparable to VR in the slightest..

Sony will have to pay settlements in hard cash, not PSN currency. No idea what you smoked to get that idea.. And if Sony won't budge, it will have to pay a more and more hefty fine each couple of months, as by then the sentencing will be by default. Microsoft tried a similar tactic with defaulting Edge in Windows, but soon it became too expensive not to adjust.

all in all maybe 200, what's the argument..?
you can go nuts with "gamer" hardware, but there's no real reason to do that, especially when you're on a budget

Tell me you never tried Linux without telling me you never have.
Bin vor einem halben Jahr komplett auf Linux umgestiegen(Debian am Stand-PC, Bazzite zum Testen am Laptop) weil ich die Spyware genannt Windows 11 im privaten Bereich nicht akzeptiere. Seither keine Probleme und musste nicht ein Mal "herumfriekeln", es funktioniert einfach alles. Nur Bazzite würde ich niemand empfehlen, der den PC nicht nur(oder zumindest primär) zu Spielen nutzen will.
Wenn du bei Windows bleiben willst, be my guest, es wird aber nicht besser werden. Wenn Microsoft eines bewiesen hat, dann dass es immer schlimmer wird, immer mehr AI Slop seinen Weg ins Betriebsystem findet.. >_>

but you can send obfuscated .env files, the AI doesn't care whether there's a valid key/password/.. in the .env

Maybe Valve got the idea how to do it right due to this lawsuit, but still they have it. Well, we've seen how little Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft learned from being sued or losing their lawsuits 😅
If you don't like stream, feel free to use any other platform, but I guess the concept of having the option for other platforms goes right over your head.
