@MarkMcConway1@joannaccherry This question was raised in parliament prior to the referendum. Legally, Scotland should have voted as a country on Brexit but the Tory minister who answered the question stated that it was unnecessary as the referendum vote was indicative, not binding. As recorded in Hansard.
@Benlinebandit@Jon86398752@DavyRussell4HLS I remember Eleanor Bradfield’s interview with Alasdair Darling on BBC radio the morning before the referendum. Between them they confected a story designed to scare pensioners and others about the future of NHS Scotland. Pure propaganda.
@Alan07302094 They are called bots. Labour was pumping out disinformation all weekend, presumably to deflect from the Starmer/Mandelson car crash unfolding. Hilarious to see the projection regarding AS and NS cabal, given the evidence unfolding of the Mandelson/ McSweeny black ops.
@DW8530@upthedancin_@danielgoyal It’s not SNP pish, it your pish about NHS staff paying higher taxes - see above. You are wrong and now desperately deflecting.
@DW8530@imbackalready@danielgoyal Obviously it’s impossible to divide that out. Westminster was responsible for the Covid response. It is possible to say that there is considerable evidence of fraud by the Tories and their donors but I haven’t seen much evidence of fraud by the Scottish Government.
@DW8530@imbackalready@danielgoyal Oh, I think everyone is pretty much aware of the massive fraud perpetrated by the Tories and their acolytes. Not sure how much of that fraud they “allocated” to Scotland. Richi Rich wrote off billions.
@imbackalready@DW8530@danielgoyal Here’s an example. The National Treatment Centre in Inverness and the other National Treatment Centres. Built and staffed to address the massive waiting lists that Covid caused. We know that Westminster’s Tory VIP lane just filled the pockets of Tory donors.
@imbackalready@DW8530@danielgoyal I think you are confused. It was the Tory VIP lane and people like Tory grandees, Michelle Mone and Lord Tootie of Torry who stole billions
@ElizabethDuthi2@DW8530@danielgoyal@theSNP No, I’m not, I worked in NHS Scotland all the way through Covid and I’m glad we had a barrier from “let the bodies pile high” Boris. A derelict, dishonest incompetent fool.
@DW8530@danielgoyal Nah, we appreciate the higher wages in NHS Scotland, the fact that there is little industrial action and that major issues are down to Westminster policies like Brexit and the gross mismanagement of Covid.
@L__Macfarlane To be fair their industrial strategy e.g. the green freeports, is completely undermined by a Labour government in Westminster. The rejection of inward investment and destruction of assets eg Grangemouth are outwith the Scottish government’s control, until independence.
